  1. Thorpe what's your opinion?
  2. So we got a "not even goodwill" out of handing JJ to them amicably, you know what i mean.
  3. What is that stuff??
  4. It's not Melbourne's fault that Sydney allowed their last ruckman to retire, before they went out to get another one.
  5. You listen to the Media sheet can us about getting rid of Brodie for a pittance after the supposed big experiment fails to materialize. Another free stab in the back....they love it.
  6. I suppose Steven could have said that Melbourne lost because Collingwood were unfair..... I think not.....
  7. Not really caring about any other teams players, Petracca should have won the Brownlow by the length of Collingwood's EGOS, give or take a maggot or two....
  8. Was he talking to anyone before we knew about it?
  9. Don't forget that McQualter could do things a little bit differently including Grundy. I would be interested in his ideas.
  10. My intention is more about the act of violence having a permanent effect on the protagonist. And as you say if he is reminded of it enough he will never forget it and he is not the only one in that situation.
  11. Bit after the horse has bolted stuff. The Family, Angus and Football are the big casualties here, and quite possibly Maynard himself. I can remember a bloke in GF chased another bloke off the ground and into the carpark and bashed him that the cops had to be called and he was never the same person again. Captain of the side and the fairest player one could see, but something personal switched him and that was it.
  12. They are getting JJ too, and we are giving them a bloke that can go into their ramshackle forward line and kick goals for them like he did for us, which brings me to the point of why if Grundy can learn how to kick a heap more goals over summer and preseason why don't we just say he is required so look elsewhere.
  13. Not only JJ but Grundy as well.
  14. What does a fa rt emoji look like?
  15. Surely that's a good sign that they are not all stupid, but are we?
  16. Perhaps has been answered from others Do we know already if there is being proposed some sort of civil action from the Brayshaw Family seeking that the AFL do something, and i am not sure of what, but along the lines of "possible assault with intent". To be fair are players in danger enough to the point of "playing at your own risk so as to not be insurable, and along comes "an unknown danger"
  17. What about when ALL the players run in the wrong direction⁉️
  18. Summed it up Layzie in a few top paragraphs. I would just add that i think the AFL are definitely scared of Collingwood and they showed it by all the fended off phone calls that were made to Headquarters the evening of the Maynard charge. Hopefully someone will come up with the necessary bulls to make the required clearances on the Board as well as the overall administration levels like Caro says...
  19. I disagree Petty and Melksham in Finals would have made all the difference required to get us over the line in all of those games, in my opinion. Grundy grabbed the opportunities with both hands when he did play, and we beat Colliwobbles as well. Didn't we also heard that Max got injured again and so did Viney, which didn't help
  20. We win the close ones as well until the pressure from Umpires decide that Goals are points, or the opposition have just got to have a free kick no matter what or in TOBY's case his head is quite expendable. I guess Colliwobbles were going to win that game no matter what. Just as Hill was going to win that NS no matter what.
  21. He won't be able to resist a taste.
  22. This year more than any other year, and include Finals the Results of games have been directly changed by Umpires decisions. This year more than any other year the Momentum of games has been directly, and dare i say deliberately, changed by Umpires decisions. and This year more than any other year Umpires decisions have been misunderstood, misread by Both Teams at the Same Time. If the clubs aren't saying WTF........i give up.
  23. ON these sites everything Dirty and underhanded should be brought up, especially to do with how the AFL administers favouritism to their pet Clubs. They have opened a can of filthy worms over the past couple of years and they need to be reminded constantly of things like safety and discrimination against players Two or three players should have got this years Medal, instead of someone who took four marks at least by himself.
