WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB – JAKE MELKSHAM
Willmoy1947 replied to Theo's topic in Melbourne Demons
Somebody know how Melksham went during any finals that he participated in, as this is extra experience we are picking up and as soon as next year hopefully it could be pretty important. -

What about "guilt on probability" and he plays a bottler and the heart flutters with "by gees he's a good get". Big conflict.... -

I look at Melksham and I see a decisive disassociation from the past. Obviously the commitment and sincerity is there by the presumed length of contract and future coach's comments. There is a malevolent wind approaching Ess and people who make the effort to positively move on should not be overly recriminated against. Anything could come out of November in circumspection. -

Is there a connection between the competitive edge and inside knowledge that a club gains when we pick up a player from an opposing side. Take Crossy and Bernie last year and those game results against their old Clubs. Surely Melksham would be of distinct benefit as well. -

Gonna be a few more red than blue faces from this barrage of no confidence if this bloke is a good get (which I think he is) -

Could it be that Melksham leaves Essendon and somehow has a restraint of trade case "light on" Just who would be running the " Sport in Australia " show then? -
What it does show us is how much Hogan and his management are being bothered by constant speculation and harassment from riff raff. Blokes like Ralph and Russell are not ingenuous enough to drum up their own news so they get somebody to read Demonland because they can't read. They are only "copyboys" in the jargon. They also get very peeved if their Clubs are mentioned in the same sentences as ASADA, WADA, falling asleep on the ground and running into the boundary fence on purpose, you get it....

I think that the Club should be able, one way or the other, to handle Melksham's exit from Essendon without to much ado... -

Kennedy long term pickup as player and thereafter. Impeccable pedigree. Definitely good player. Undoubtedly good person. -

After WADA is finished that club will be disbanded anyway and every other club will get a couple of players each. We're taking Melksham and Daniher because the rellies want us to, you know, get away and start up a new dynasty. That little piece of info should get all the soaks up and about... -

I'm thinking now that this bloke if fit could be a good get. Don't forget Ess are in conflagration as are their supporters. -

Glad someone wants Howe. Pretty sure he (Howe) would go to that "joint" as well. If we did that trade every draft pick from five to ten would be on suicide watch. Greg Denim shouldn't say such silly things in public. -

How would Essendon supporters, club hierarchy, etc, anybody for that matter been able to judge whether or not a player was intentionally putting in enough, or for that matter was physically or mentally able to put in enough or not. Time span. Last couple of tempestuous years. Figure? -

We just fix the WADA business by getting a new rule brought in by the AFL to say that penalty only applies to current (2016 onwards) "Essendon" players. Problem solved -

Wonder how many arguments Damian Barrett lost in the school yard. Always looks so miserable. -
Hey not all footballers are greedy pr**ks. The Hun starts this rubbish because they are pl**ks
-
Frawley has cracked the sh**s because everyone from Melb told him his rellie was a spud chasing money all the time.

Isn't there conjecture regarding Essendon players not getting any suspensions. If this is so we could do worse than a couple of their on ballers but I don't know who. -

I think there is a bit more to the way Howe played against Collingwood. On Eddy's commentary hardly rated a mention re: like to have him, coming or going etc. Howe played well . Backed into a few packs, took some real pressure marks. Did what he's supposed to do. My opinion, could end up there or could start to negotiate. We'll see. -

Anybody pick up on the Coll/ Melb replay via Eddy and Shaw a low pitched remark that Shaw said about Hogan being their's Not happy about that wishful thinking...
