Can Oliver just go straight to Neale and hound the F out of him as well as racking up 25 touches himself?

That's clever thinking & an option that should be used more often. Clarry will be tagged so get him to stick to Neale like a limpet. It'll throw the Lions planning out.

My guess is Lever in and Tommo out. I could also see another out with Hunter/Hore in as sub.

Ridiculous statement. Do you actually follow what's happening ? Hunter has been struggling with a calf & will play for Casey & Hore is still injured.

I wonder when posters say things like "petty/oliver/fritta etc.) need to go back to the 2nds", if they have any idea that there is zero talent in the ressies ready to replace them?

Yes its dire. Billings, Fullarton, AMW, McAdam, Laurie should all be knocking on the door but are all scratchy at best.

Then realised I’ve got another two in my bag and cans aren’t allowed in so right now I’m outside the G smashing another two (don’t judge me). I’ll be the one pingin’ off the walls tonight, win or lose 😂

You are truly a Demonland Treasure.

I'm nominating you for MFC Life Membership 🍾🥂

For the regular Casey watchers, how is Jed Adams tracking?

Good size, plays every week, but we don't hear much. Just wondering if there's signs we have someone who could potentially do a decent job in May's role in a few years.

Has the odd decent game but generally had shown little to suggest he will make the grade. About on par with the solid Casey listed players.

  6. I see Michael Graham was inducted into the AFL Hall of Fame.

He was signed by Melbourne in the early 70's but didn't come over. Instead we got his nephew Colin, a very skilful half fwd who stayed a few seasons.

Shame we didn't get Michael who was a brilliant player for Sturt & St Mary's in the Darwin comp. He was an outstanding mid size forward with all the skills.

We could sure use him now.

  7. Seems a lot of Demonlanders are still obsessed or fixated with Maynard over the Brayshaw incident & now Moore over the Petracca injury.

I'm much more worried that we have been $h!those for over a month and that our brains trust has run out of ideas.

During the last quarter, Taj Woewodin featured in a goal scoring chain with two classy foot passes, penultimately hitting Ben Brown before the goal was kicked.  Belied the notion his kicking was wayward.

Taj's disposal improved but was sloppy early on. He missed several passes by foot when under minimal pressure. Foot disposal has been one of his assets but he needs to improve if he wants to make it as a regular

Of the others McAdam played well but so he should against this Pies side who make us look like champions. Too light for AFL level IMO. At the top level is you are light you need to be very good. He is not very good and at his third club.

This demonstrates that you have no idea. What on earth is "too light" ?

    That's a subjective & meaningless statement.

And get it right - McAdam is at his 2nd club not his 3rd.

Not point, arguing, Cranky we really have some of the softest supporters in the AFL.

The Collingwood supporters are banding together now, they’re got half there team out, but they’ll be there in force, where as some of ours are broken & just can’t do it anymore

Toughen up people, it’s a game that you’re supposed to enjoy!!!!!

Yes it reminds me of the supporters who were $hitty over the Norm Smith sacking & carried a grudge for the next 45 years

“Get on with it”??? I’d love nothing more than to be able to get on with it… but I can’t. This whole farce has broken my spirit. From the moment I heard that the filthy thug was free to play, followed by McGuire toasting “ Ladies and gentlemen, justice has been done!” everything has changed. And it’s not going away anytime soon. I saw Gus in the one training session he attended after his forced retirement. What a heartbreaking sight it was. He’s a broken man.

Good on you that you’ve clearly been able to get on with it, but don’t tell others to do the same.

Suit yourself but don't end up like a Footscray supporter mate who was still banging on about Rod Grinter's hit on Terry Wallace 10 years after the event claiming Grinter should have gone to jail.

Nobody likes what happened to Angus but in the scheme of terrible things that can happen to people it should be kept in perspective.

I’m sick to death of all this Maynard stuff & the excuses of certain supporters, harden up & get to the game if you can, the season is on the line, we need all the support we can get.

Fully agree. There is a lot of rubbish being written on this site & it ought to be shut down.

Sometimes life is unfair & you can endlessly whine about it or get on with it.

I think the hurricane last year didn’t help 😂

What didn't help was the geniuses in our Brains Trust (sic) who decided to bring in Ben Brown & Grundy on a soaking wet day. It cost us the game & not for the first time.

Coburg kicked 6 goals in the 2nd quarter when Fullerton was “ rucking”. At least They only got one when Verrall was doing the job.!!!

Agree George.  It's depressing seeing Verrall & Fullerton getting consistently beaten in the VFL by "good ordinary" VFL standard ruckmen.

Heaven help us if Max gets injured.
