Great news for us on the Peninsula. One of my all time favourites will be pulling on the boots for the Somerville FC this season. The club are rapt to have him return to the fold. I know the footy manager and insisted he be given no 14. Apparently Hibbo didn’t care what number he plays in and is doing all the hard yards with training etc.

You are correct Ghosty but TBH he doesn’t hold out much hope for them either. I don’t know whether he was trying to get in my good books 🙄but he was nothing short of complementary of how we almost won and agrees our young talent are better than theirs. So I won’t be cooking him Beef Wellington this weekend !

I’m with you Sue. We took it up to them and tried hard the entire game. They had everything to play for and TBH I wouldn’t be feeling at all confident with the Pies ability to go much further in the finals. There are much better teams than them. I think we have some amazing young talent and with a new coach and some stability at the top I believe we have a lot to look forward to ❤️💙
