I wonder how much all this speculation is effecting the team? Its not just Brodie is it. Its also JJ and Harmes and Tommo all probably going elsewhere. I just have to wonder about the impact of that on the sole purpose needed at this time of year. This is on top of Petty and Melk and Dunstan going down. Wouldn't it throw a cat amongst the many pigeons if they picked Brodie on Thursday Night. I still think this is a genuine possibilty.

I still feel angry about it tbh. The Caro attack ( sanctioned by the AFL appeasing the gambling industry) happened what was it 3 years after the events actually happened...and was targetted at ONLY us. Not the blues, Hawks, Swans, Pies that had ALL of them done the same thing! Still gets under my skin. The only thing that I will say about it is it gave us a true bottom..it was from there we laid the foundation for a flag.

well… he’s contracted so the deal has to suit Melbourne. We won’t screw another club and for sure we will be fair to Grundy too, it’s our way as a club, but it has to be fair for us too. Amazing that 2 weeks in a row a faulty goal umpires call in the last minute changes the finals destiny of 2 teams. The first one, ours, the soft call was touched when it should been called a goal. The second last night not even reviewed! Intriguing to me that both umpires said they clearly heard the touch ( hand / goal post) I mean with 50k plus screaming fans (at full voice) and hands and bodies whacking the posts and padding as the pack descends … how the hell can they say that with confidence? No clear deflection in either case so it’s all about the sounds.

well a massive cheque fr a 3- 4 year contract would help , with huge money from the afl as an ambassador as well as life on the gold coast. i can see what that sounds like a good idea. he’ll always be a legend at the tiges whether he plays 300 or not
