  1. Fagan is the anti Goodwin. You score 150 points, we’ll score 160. They need to fix up their defence, not strengthen their forward line further.
  2. I too thought I’d share this, without comment, for others comment
  3. There’s too much mental arithmetic involved in trades these days. I find it interesting that the AFL want to simplify the actual game, at the expense of its history, but let this kind of very technical stuff happen off field. We get it. You wanna be the NFL. But you aren’t, you never will be - and that’s a good thing.
  4. I actually think if the coaches votes weren’t disclosed until the end of the year it would easily surpass the Brownlow in terms of interest and creditability. It’s only the suspense that makes it a spectacle. Who thinks the umpires are the best judge of the game anyway? They aren’t watching it - because of the pace of the game they are always trying to work to the next position to get the best perspective on infringements. It seems strange we ask them to vote when the AFL goes out of their way to try and make them invisible.
  5. Agree. Him and Shai Bolton are arguably the 2 most dynamic, game changing players that aren’t midfielders.
  6. ‘Again’ implies it ever was.
  7. There’s a very, very long list of incredible players who never win a Brownlow.
  8. You started out by quoting Bolt espousing the virtues of Western civilisation and now you’re saying the onus is on others to disprove your theories? I’m not sure that’s the cornerstone of western democratic values. It literally works the other way by design. But keep going. You’re nailing this 👍
  9. Well you go first. Literally nothing you quoted here is fact, at best some of it is misinterpreted statistics used to concoct an argument to disguise an overt bias.
  10. Was it the bloke who looks like Monty Burns from Essendon? I’d probably be difficult and awkward too.
  11. Remember when people complained because we didn’t have a winning culture?
  12. Great to see so many AFL boys there. We are tight.
  13. Great win. Fantastic to see so many Demons greats in the stand.
  14. Demonland. Obviously.
  15. Melksham doesn’t get enough ready around here.
  16. The umpiring is rewarding the tackler and not the player trying to win the ball. Surely that’s not what we want in the game?
  17. Pity. That’s a club who could do with a camp to really pull the team together.
  18. Terang was the big smoke growing up. I remember we had to go to Terang from Mortlake to see a Vet - when my mum ran over our dog (by accident). Is the Hampden league struggling these days? It used to be incredibly strong.
  19. I work with numbers (but I also drive Uber)
  20. Hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha! 1 point.
  21. Why is Phil Davis dressed like a high school science teacher?
  22. Gees Warner looks good for a pick 39. He holds his space really well and uses his pace.
