I am with the OP all the way - as I said here: - 10 wins is what I still reckon... and I had hoped for that without any wins in the first 11 rounds!

Do you think Neeld would play the same group just because they won, or look at who we are playing next and pick those that can outperform their opposition? I would personally prefer Neeld to put the team and a win ahead of rewarding a good player with another game just because he had a good game.

Nope.. . That wasn't me. There must have been a few American/Canadian visitors!

I think I was sitting in front of you... We're they the ones that you were explaining everything to near the ramp where Essendon came out? I would have to say, living in Brisbane I miss footy at the MCG! Much louder, greater atmosphere and I can't wait to get back next Monday for another big win!

I reckon Watts will play in defense for the rest of this year to learn his agression - 'cause the best place to learn that is defending your teams lead by stopping goals. Then bulk him up over next preseason and have him and Mitch Clark as two tower forwards with Jurrah and Garland as roaming forwards with the ability to go in the air or on the ground... with the two Jacks, Jones and Howe et al in the middle and the defense holding up we are starting to look like the team that is tough to play.

With five minutes to go some essendon supporters got up and left from in front of me... I told him off... Sit there and take it like a man.

I reckon Jack will play in defense for all of this year to learn the aggression. W know with his accuracy that he will kick goals whenever we get him into the forwards with that aggression!

So I managed to schedule two work trips around the footy schedule... I will be down in Melbourne on the Friday before the Essendon game which makes it easy to stay for the footy on Saturday... so I am taking my twelve year old sister who has never been before... where would be the best place to sit that is teenager/child friendly? I will then be back the next week for the Melbourne v Collingwood game - a Collingwood supporter mate of mine is coming down and since I have a membership he will be sitting with me... where should I sit so that he is surrounded by as many Dees supporters as possible? Also, is it best to buy tickets online or at the gate? I have 3 game interstate membership which I think gets me into the Queen's birthday game, but not the Essendon game? Do you still have to purchase tickets?

Tom McDonald is doing pretty well. Another couple of years and he will be a champ. -

I agree... But the rope is probably for Petterd. And Watts can have another week to feel good about his skills. -

Didn't they train this week breaking and running full speed into space? Where is it? Everyone is standing still. -

On a positive note, finally got my membership pack today. Unfortunately it's still too hot in Brisbane to wear the scarf! -

Need more communication. The Should do a training drill in blindfolds to learn how to start talking to each other. -

It's amazing what a large percentage of the half time top seven moments of the previous round are taken up by the demons. If you only watched them you might be forgiven for thinking that we are in the top eight! The team needs to start trusting each other and playing as a team. After all, players names aren't on the back of their guernsey's for a reason. Its a team game, not a group of individuals. -

Magner is doing well. Clark is doing well. Just gotta get the ball down to him more and get a few other forwards to follow his lead... Figuratively, not literally. -

It's almost like at every break the players hear 'Great quarter, we are still in this, now go and play your old structure to show just how crap it is compared to how that went'
