Lifelong Demon

Supporters should support the team - would you chuck out your parents/spouse/children once you got sick of their performances? If you are a true supporter, then you stick with the team regardless of where they stand, and give encouragement when they need it. If I were a Demon player and read some of the comments on here I certainly wouldn't feel like I had any support from the fans.

Watts dropped, Clark in, Rivers on Hawkins, Bartram on Stevie J... Hopefully the Demons can put up fight for a majority of the game.

So since 17 - 6 = 11 I can remain confident that we will get at least ten wins!

Better late than never I say. I tell you what though, I am glad I posted this originally before the St Kilda game - I am still adament that the Demons can make 10th this year. I am planning on coming down from Brisbane to the MCG on Queen's Birthday to watch Melbourne beat Collingwood.

I wish Channel 7 put this live in Brisbane - who wants to see Brisbane v Gellong having a mud wrestling match! Got the iPad live streaming the score and hopefully wont wake the kids up!

14th at worst... but I still maintain 10th

Always an optimist! I know that we have playing terribly for the past four weeks, and the next six weeks look tough, but I cant see how with the way the draw looks in the second half of the year, how we could do any worse than 14th. But when it happens - you saw it here first!

OK - I know we have had a crappy start to the season and the first 11 rounds are either lost or against top teams, but the second half of the season is a much better run. When you combine that with the moments of greatness we see periodically and another two months of training soft bodies (and maybe dumping them for stronger ones) and learning new game plans I think its not too unrealistic.
