So I'm the only person not picking KC? If we lose, I blame you all. Actually, Tennessee have started really well. I know they have the hurt Locker situation, but Fitzpatrick and Buffalo have had some success against us the past couple of seasons. Mind you, every man and his dog had their way with us the past couple of seasons I suppose. Hopefully Dallas can do the job on Denver but I fear it could get ugly. It pains me to say but Denver look a cut above most teams thus far. It's four games in, we are undefeated, but realistically we are playing for the wildcard. It'll be interesting to see how they fare against really good defences the rest of the way and not the playoffs. Great D often has a way of beating great O when the big games arrive. Anyway, it will be good to have buffalo and Cleveland on tomorrow. I like to get a glimpse of all the teams rather than just the same ones every week.

Good to see Cassel play well in a win. His turnovers killed us while a Chief, but if he can just look after the ball and give it to AP as much as possible that's a start. Hope it works out.

I'm taking this as a precursor to the Paul Roos Demons! Two wins for both of my football teams last season, but hoping for a reasonably quick turnaround for both. KC stuffed up some of our early picks but recently we've got them right so we've got some good young pieces in place. I'm somewhat spooked by next week's game against the Giants though. They'll be playing for their season and should be thoroughly stung by that disgusting performance. Hopefully we don't get ahead of ourselves. As for the tipping, fair dinkum. Every week I've picked two winners and the loss each week has occurred in zany fashion. As long as I don't have to run around Demonland with my pants down if I finish on zero at the end of the season.

Nice! Agree with all that. Speaking of Vick's physical punishment, the biggest hit he took today came on his first TD pass when Derrick Johnson absolutely levelled him a split second after he released it. I couldn't believe he got up after it. Enjoy the GB box score!

Dropped passes, critical penalties, missed FG and a Philly D that is looking for Charles. Need to get Bowe involved. Well, this has been an incredible first quarter. We somehow lead 10-6 despite doing absolutely nothing with the ball and giving up a couple of big plays to Vick. The Eagles have lost two fumbles, insanely gone for a 2-point conversion and stuffed it, and given away a pick 6. Teams rarely ever win when doing that sort of craziness. We've got the ball at midfield to start the second.

Time for the offense to get moving. Three dropped balls so far. Thank goodness for the defense and special teams.

Yes, hopefully it continues Dave. He's solid, doesn't make many silly mistakes, and we've got a great RB in Charles to ease the load. It's baby steps for KC after such a poor season, but the makings are there of a half-decent team. The D is potentially one of the NFL's best but with a long way to go to get there. It should be, after all the high draft picks invested in it (2012: Poe #11, 2010: Berry #5, 2009: Jackson #3, 2006: Hali #20, 2005: Johnson #15 - even Flowers at #35 in 2008 was an early 2nd rounder). Anyway, hopefully waking up early on a Monday morning for NFL this season will be even more enjoyable this season.

Well, we've equalled last season's win total. Good times. This one was closer than I thought it would be, after watching what was a pretty lacklustre Dallas performance last week, but I'll take it after a very tight game.

I missed out on the point last week 1987 VFL prelim style - with a 15 yard penalty to Tampa Bay at the death costing them the game. I'll take Denver, New Orleans and Detroit this week. Tough to find three road winners.

Congrats big fella. Good to see them doing well. Folks in the Bay Area support their pro sports teams in awesome fashion, and when the Warriors get to the playoffs it's a madhouse. Hope they keep it up.
