Let's not get ahead of ourselves. Objective should be to win every quarter - one quarter at a time.

Won’t win the NAB Rising Star award because he can’t but still one of the recruits of the year!

Casey Demons v Collingwood VFL - Round 10
The Third Eye replied to WERRIDEE's topic in Melbourne Demons
Not Casey but I just tuned into the telecast of Williamstown v Richmond at Point Gellibrand and those Willy boys are still sparring against the opposition as if last week’s game was still going. I expect some more fireworks ? any time soon. -
Score review SNAFU in the Brisbane v Essendon game. Bomber player kicks out of a pack, field umpire calls touched and the ball goes through. Score review appears inconclusive but field umpire’s call is overturned. Is this what the score review was meant for?

Looking forward to the Free Agency & Trade Period
The Third Eye replied to WERRIDEE's topic in Melbourne Demons
For the coming draft, Melbourne has - * no picks in the first round; * one second round pick; * two third round picks; and * no picks in the fourth round. We need to trade to get into the first round. -

VFL Practice Match - Casey Demons v Port Melbourne
The Third Eye replied to Drunkn167's topic in Melbourne Demons
I clicked on the Casey Demons website and the front page of the on line site contains a story from 24 October 2017 announcing the appointment of Colin Garland as the Casey Demons VFL Womens senior coach for its inaugural season in 2018. I suppose that means they’re not going to put the team selected for today’s game on their site. -
With their injury histories VDB and McKenna will be under the pump if they can’t get on the park early in the season. The way the game is played these days, players need a strong fitness base if they’re going to perform well. I wish them luck but things aren’t looking good for them.

Family Day 2018 Returns to the 'G (Sunday 4/3/18)

That’s a strange comment to make. The Weid has already played some good games at AFL level and has been inconvenienced by injury (ankle problems, I think). Lovett has played a couple of games at Casey Seniors where he has been unimpressive and languished in the Development League where he failed to stand out. Good luck to him at Frankston but he would be a real long shot to make an AFL list at this stage.

Discount the Swans at your peril.

It will be interesting to see him after another full pre season under his belt. -
"A very unhelpful guide to 2018" You need to acknowledge Titus O'Reilly for the heading to this post.

Now 6th in line for the premiership - Sportsbet Premiership Odds $3.75 Adelaide $4.00 GWS Giants $7.50 Geelong $9.00 Port Adelaide $12.00 West Coast $16.00 Western Bulldogs Melbourne

We might need someone of his kind but not him with the baggage and the high salary he commands. The $800k would be far better spent and even if Sydney paid some of his wage, they would have to throw in Zak Jones as a sweetener.

They've all become gentrified at the Borough Mr Biffen. Town houses, SUV's and cafe latte these days and the only crimes are white collar.

Good article from Tim Lane who is a native Taswegian - In AFL nothing is certain, except Tasmania should have a team Merge Brisbane/GCS and bring in Tassie!!!

And this is before any major knee issues start arising ...

I don't believe that Clarrie was ever small enough to be in grade two.
