No way on Earth we should trade Martin in this Clark deal - Clark just isn't that good and even if we do get him he'll just want to return to Perth at some stage. Martin is comming into his own and is more versitile. Forget about Clark.

Can't see it happening and to be honest I'm not sure why we are wasting our time. Why would he want to come to Melbourne when he wants to go home. It makes little to no sense. I'd prefer us to put our energy into going for Lisle or some muture age players like St. Kilda did - they've got cap issues and they've still managed to do what seems to be a decent deal. Honestly, can we now just concentrate on a deal that we maybe able to land? It was always going to be a long shot getting him and to be honest I'm not convinced on him anyway. We need a key forward - his best position is in the ruck, not as a forward. It seems like we've wasted a lot of time so far in trade week.

Lisle could come straight in next season and in 2013 you'd look at rotating all 3 depending on injuries etc.
