  1. We should be in the conversation but Roos and Hawks will no doubt make good offers as well.

They didn't get Jack Viney. Thank God for that as well as @Jaded No More and @rpfc would have probably had a stroke.
  3. Rampe cleared by the tribunal and is free to take on Freo this weekend. Good boost for Sydney, and us.

Videos been removed, wonder if someone has realised the mistake and will upload again with the correct graphic.
  5. Shame, I think the kid has something. If he secures a trade I'll watch his career with interest.
  6. I can't see it either, but the afl keep it secret and the cynic in me says they will manipulate the system and dress it up the compensation anyway they want. You're probably right though in Sanders/Callinan being the main draft assistance if that were to eventuate. In that case hopefully FA compo will remain true to contract value.
  7. So North may end up with pick 2, 3 (mckay compensation) and Sanders, who is easily a top 10 pick. Jack Callinan also falls under their NGA and would be another free hit. They're doing well out of that.
  8. Awarded the rising star nomination for round 18. Demons' quiet achiever earns Rising Star nod - https://www.afl.com.au/news/981905
  9. As it stands Out: Jackson, 44 (via bedford), 67 In: Jefferson, 4, 23
  10. Meanwhile, freo trying to get their season going...

Tigers look far from convincing against West Coast. Perhaps hawks are a sneaky chance next week?
  12. Would love nothing more than freo falling to 16th. Somewhat poetic justice given Jackson himself was pick 3. If Hawks can get over the Tigers next week I'll dare to dream.
  13. That's a fair ask being two games down and a 12% difference. Freo also to play West Coast. Would have to win 4 out of the last 6 and freo just 1 out of 6.

I'd feel bad for them, but then I realised it's hilarious and [censored] hawthorn.
  15. Yes Ashcroft will be in the conversation as well. It's O'Sullivan for me at this stage though. What he was doing last week against the Allies was freakish.
  16. Jagga Smith and Finn O'Sullivan fighting for the early #1 mantle for next year. Smillie has got good wraps on him but not as prolific as those two.

The way I see it its; 1. Reid 2. Walter 3. McKercher Would love him if available but I think we will have to give strong consideration to Watson. Him and Kozzie in the fwd 50 would be a nightmare for opposition.
  18. Perfect set of results for us this week. Freo vs Sydney next week huge for our pick 4 prospects.
  19. Funny, reality is that he's religious and enjoys a red.

Carltons going to replace the saints in the top 8 by the end of the h&a season.

Unlikely they drop out of the top 2 but I think the showdown could go either way and GWS may push them as well. Can see a dip in performance from them after 13 straight wins, teams can rarely sustain it.

Subbed out of the game now.
  23. Walker stretchered off with a knee injury, possible dislocation. Take no joy in seeing players injured. Hope there's no structural damage and he doesnt have to spend long on the sidelines.
  24. Pick 5 probably. Walter (GC) will likely go top 2. Rogers and Read (both from GC academy) will be first rounders but most likely later half of top 10 onwards. No f/s prospect so far is being talked about as top 10 potential. Of course this can all change.
  25. That's probably a fair enough assessment and can't see him coming in this late in the season in the lead up to finals. I think he has the agility and iq to get by without speed, was also showing good defensive pressure at Casey in the last few games I saw. I agree though he certainly looks better when rotating through the midfield. Next year I'm hoping we will shake this team up a bit and give a good string of games to Howes, Laurie and Turner (only if warranted of course).
