  1. In isolation maybe?
  2. How is King 5th in the Coleman with kicking like that? Saints lose it's on him.
  3. This thread needs more @Chook in Perth action.
  4. As long as no first-round pick is involved I'm on board.
  5. No one...? Ok I'll do it I guess.
  6. Jackos appearance is good for a laugh at the end of the video. Still having fun at the club it seems.
  7. https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/goodwin-coy-on-demons-grundy-interest-price-freeze-on-afl-finals-tickets-20220810-p5b8p6.html "Collingwood, who are once again trying to clear cash out of a bulging salary cap, are open to offers but only if clubs are willing to pay a significant portion of Grundy’s wage." "While Fremantle refuse to comment publicly or privately about their wooing of Jackson, rival clubs believe the Dockers have tabled a six- or seven-year deal worth an average of $900,000 per season." Article mentions Geelong and GWS interested in Grundy but his preference is to remain at Collingwood.
  8. Carlton appealing again apparently. 6pm tomorrow night.
  9. I hope you're right.
  10. I agree that this deal will get done for most likely a second rounder or some permutations around that. I just think we will end up paying more of his salary than many on here will hope. Probably in the 800k+ range for 5 years.
  11. Cal Twomey saying not to rule out Melbourne yet as a destination for Karl Amon.
  12. The more we pay salary wise the less draft capital I would imagine. At a guess, if we pay 900k we should be able to get away with a second rounder. If we only want to pay 600k Collingwood will probably ask for a 1st rounder and possibly more. Depends how much we value salary cap space vs draft picks.
  13. As it stands we have picks 34, 40 (from adelaide), 52, 64 and 70.
  14. Is there an corrolation between socio-economic status and ones gastrointestinal system going to $h!t?
  15. Correct and entirely possible he isn't rated.
  16. A notible absent name from this list is our NGA prospect Finn Emile-Brennan. Tipping he well make it past pick 40 and therefore free to us should we choose.
  17. As much as a love seeing Carlton being flogged, I would much prefer they didn't let Brisbane accumulate percentage so easy.
  18. *I have about a 0.000001% belief that he'll be in demon colours next year. Is a nice fantasy though.
  19. Not a rumour but what are peoples thoughts on chasing Todd Marshall at the end of 2023. Vic boy who is out of contract then and can take a contested grab as well as chop out in the ruck. Only 23 as well.
  20. No reason we can't do both. Pending medical exam, I view Gunstan as a serious upgrade to both Brown and McDonald and he'll be a free hit as an UFA. If we're lucky enough to have the rumours become true, we land Naughton, who at 22, will feature for the next 10 years in our forward line. Gunstan can then hand over the reigns to JvR on his retirement and our key position forwards are set for a decade. Imagine having the luxury of BBB and McDonald as depth instead of Weideman and M. Brown (no disrespect intended to these players). If we don't land a younger key position target via trade such as Naughton, we should hopefully be in the position to draft either Cadman (unlikely) or Jefferson who can develop while Gunstan is playing with a combination of Fritsch and either McDonald/Brown and JvR pushing for selection.
  21. Final 8 just about locked in now.
  22. Close to none I would have thought. But Gunstan as a free agent could be a shot. Theoretical forward line of Gunstan and Naughton would be very exciting with JvR developing.
  23. Now you I am far more suspicious of (Although that was actually the first scenario I though of, was a gun defender in his draft year)
  24. Would be an unbelievable get if it does come to fruition. Don't believe you're one to troll with trade rumours so I'll take you at face value. Still can't see the dogs letting it happen though.
