CASEY: PF vs Brisbane
That's fair and JvR has done some rucking this year as well so club clearly thinks he can pinch hit there.

Weids been huge today and capping off his afternoon with two contested grabs and a goal. Ruck/forward will be his way back into the team going forward .

CHANGES 2022
Prior to list management decisions and the trade/draft period this is how I could see us lining up for round 1 next year. *I have assumed Jackson will request a trade. FB. Turner May Bowey HB. Rivers Lever Salem C. Langdon Oliver Brayshaw HF. Spargo JvR Sparrow FF. Pickett Petty Fritsch R. Gawn Petracca Viney IC. Harmes Hunt Jordan (2nd ruck, via trade or Weideman) With the absence of any key forwards on the trade market we will have to look within to find a competitive tall foward structure which I believe should involve two genuine talls. BBB may still fill this role but I think Petty has proven to be one of our best contested marks. Swung foward late in our semi final loss, he immediately impacted with a strong contested mark and goal before having hands in another. JvR with another preseason under his belt should be ready to play the majority of the year in the senior team. Having both play forward will provide significant aerially threats that will be more suitable to the current gamestyle we play. For this to happen, a competent replacement for Petty in the backline needs to he found and I believe we have one in Turner who has been a dominant figure in Casey's backline this year. I have assumed Jackson will request a trade. I will be surprised if we don't source a second ruck with speculation that Grundy and Meek are on our radar. I haven't included either at this stage to avoid putting in players from other teams that may or may not he on our list. Hopefully pushing for selection Howes, Laurie, Woewodin, Chandler, Bedford Depth McDonald, Brown, Hibberd, ANB, Dunstan, Tomlinson, J. Smith, D. Smith, AMW, McVee, Weideman Players moved on Jackson*, Melksham, Baker, Rosman, M. Brown

GAMEDAY: SF vs Brisbane
I'm surprised and shocked on two counts. 1. Someone found Daniher attractive enough to do the deed 2. Daniher was accurate enough to "kick a goal."

Giants will then have pick 3, 12 and 21 with more picks to be added with the imminent departure of Hopper, Bruhn and Hill.

@Webber would probably be most qualified to give insight but my gut feel would be to give him a week off and bring in Dunstan.- Finals Prediction

Freo have been far from convincing recently, lose this weekend they will have pick 12 which becomes 13 after Ashcroft.- Trade and Free Agency rumours

Whatever ends up happening, I wouldn't be surprised to see our future first thrown into the mix to climb as high into the first round this year as possible. 2 x first rounders from freo and 1 from us to get a top 5 and mid first or something along those lines. There looks to be multiple teams that will acquire first round picks that could assist us/freo. Adelaide losing Rankin, Dogs potentially losing Dunkley and GWS losing Taranto, Hopper and Bruhn. There should be enough picks in the first round changing hands that should provide us opportunity.- CASEY: QF vs Sydney
There was about 5 players remonstrating him shortly after on a different camera angle, nothing over the top but Bedford, Rosman getting into him with a couple of Casey boys. Munro showing the most aggression. I think Weideman missed the incident as he was bending over to pick up the ball, was one of the first to get over to Woewodin to check on him and pick him up.- Farewell Sam Weideman

Dunstan BOG and Brown not far behind as an important target inside 50. Of our younger players, JvR was super impressive and should get regular senior time next year. Howes showed promising signs, was very clean with the footy and seems to be a one touch player. Rosman worked his way into the game after half time and had noticeable 2nd and 3rd efforts with multiple tackles. I've had my doubts on him but think he's got a lot of talent to work with and should be kept for another year. Liked woewodins game and just seems like a solid footballer. Turner is one that's too good to be playing vfl for the majority of the year next season. Tough backline to crack into though. Wasn't Lauries day and was rarely sighted, looking forward to see how he responds in the prelim as I rate him as a footballer in general and has had a decent year. - Christian Petracca hairline fracture.
