Two positives - Jesse Hogan and Jack Viney lifting this club out of the absolute shizen it has become in maybe 4 years.

Im not - Wayne Carey looked ordinary in his first games as well. But playing him now is stupid. he needs time to develop in the VFL.

He has been a good player for this side but he is woefully out of form. Spencer and Gawn are ahhead and would have already got a game you would think .

I think we just arent fit enough or want it enough. Mark Jamar is a great and loyal player but he needs some time in the seconds. Spencer and Gawn are ahead.

I think young Toump would be better served in the 2nds for a while. this could ruin is confidence Watts style.

I think terlich's game has been better, matt Jones continues to impress in his third AFL game, Colin Sylvia and Trengove have shown some form at times, and Tappscott has not given up all day. Bail looked ok, Clark looks injured.

Pederson, Frawley, and a few others have been poor.

Evans hasnt been the worst. He looked ok in the preseason.

Bails disposal is a worry but at least he occasionally gets the ball.

Rohan Bail will be back via triple M. This is the worrying quarter.

True, but Jetta and Evans have looked ok at times. Tappscott and Pederson havent done much though.

Agree with all of that. ive enjoyed the game so far and think this side is more balanced than the last two - the inclusions have generally added rather than done nothing. Would like to see more from tappie, great to see Trengove show a bit more of the old days. Colin Sylvia - thanks for reminding us that you can play. Terlich - second efforts - nice to see.

Evans and Jetta probably overdue - more run means nothing if you have a midfield manned by two 18 year olds who cannot be expected to get the ball and Jonesy the only functioning inside mid. jamar will get smashed again and so will our midfield and we could have buddy franklin in the forward 50 and we'd still get smashed. Bail has terrible disposal generally, but he DOES at least get the ball on occasions so I guess that is a good choice. Sylvia must stay in the midfield so we have another bigger body in there at least. Good to see Terlich still in. Dean Kent, Neville jetta - two players that should have been selected from round 1!

infact Ill go further - neeld is clearly still tanking if he thinks Sellar and Jamar (who by the way I do rate generally) did enough in the last two weeks to maintain a position in our side over Spencer and Gawn).

If this is accurate then you can lock in another massive loss.... Dean kent has shown more than half our list. Gawn has second efforts. it really is like shuffling deck chairs
