They don't have to offer him anything. They can play him for a few games at the end of this year and then give him the arse for next season. He is not locked in for next year now and i would say the games he does get in the next few weeks will be a testm for him.

I actually think the cut off date is on tomorrow (thursday). But considering Hughes (coming back from injury), Neville, Hayes and Weetra all played 2's on the weekend it would be unlikely. Also Neaves had a run in the 2's two weeks ago so it would also be doubtful for him too.

Can someone explain how Frawley has votes. Surely you can override whoever gave them to him. He played an absolute shit game the day he got 3 votes.

I think it means the totals after each round will not be posted as to add to the suspence. But if anyone could be bothered (i very much doubt) we could easily just add the votes after each round to the tally you just gave us. But who could really give a fuck! I too haven't heard of the saying before.

I know for a fact that Valenti had the most touches for Sandy with 27. I think Gaggs (or someone else did) also had 27. Bode was third or forth with around 24 i think. It's amazing the crap that gets written about melbourne people when down at Sandy on this site.

Exactly. Buckley and Newton are the only kids that played that would not have if Melbourne were having the year that everyone expected. You could argue that Bell, Jones and Brock are kids but they are in the best 22 anyway. They should have played Buckley and Newton earlier, given Garland a few more, kept Dunn in and i would suspect Bode to get his chance this week.

It's all to do with Geelong and Tasmania not having reserves sides. For example, this week Frankston 1's are playing Tasmania which leaves their 2's side to play someone. It could be done other ways but i suppose they've looked at most options.

I wouldnt really call it a danger game when there the result has no baring on september action for the dees. I would call a game against the tigers a danger game if the dees were currently sitting around 7th when a win is expected and a loss will hurt their finals chances.
