I bumped into Danny Hughes at Half Moon (a quiet Brighton night spot) a couple of months back and tried to start up a conversation about how he was going as i played junior footy against him. Yes, i have noticed Danny's, or Froggers as you like to say softness although i must admit he is getting better. He looks much improved this year and looks tougher with his new no frills hair cut. One of Wayne Johnston's sons was definately playing. Marc, about 22 who plays at Sandy. The younger son Tomi who did a pre-season with Carlton also may have played. He is 18 with a very slight frame. i wouldnt be worrying about this one, his strength is his endurance and engine so doesnt need to lose any weight to improve this. more weight through the hips just makes it easier for him to break tackles and shake players off. although if he were to lose a few kg's perhaps he could give them to danny hughes; this kid might go alright if someone actually fed this fella!!!
