Rubbish.
Sorry but I fail to see how on earth you’d substantiate that comment.

Shower thought of the day: I wonder if this is the club's way of finding an inside rumour leak? 🤔
The old Prince William trick!

Educated guess or do you have some solid info to share?
Fingers crossed you are right.
Sorry, no, on a reread that sounded much more authoritative than it should. I have no idea. Just seems to fit better all round.

That's why I've been wanting North to finish last. Just in case. Teams pretty much never trade pick 1, but might trade pick 2
West Coast would do it anyway I reckon. They’ll have tons of cap space and it kick starts their rebuild with a known quantity.
Freo just can’t get it done

I wouldn't be surprised if West Coast are the one's that have made the God father offer and have been the team he's going to the entire time.
This is what’s really going on. And why we are so unfussed.
We will walk in pick 2 and probably something else and never look back and Jackson will take the giant wads of cash freed up by the aging list there.

It's not just opposition supporters but I agree players like Spargo, ANB and Sparrow although maligned are every bit a part of the first 22.
Always been a fan of ANB too but he just makes me roll around on the floor with frustration sometimes. Last one was one of those times

As much as I am a huge fan of Sparrow, I have been one of his critics this year. A lot of clumsy football and poor disposal. But he was much better last night. He maintained his physical edge but made better decisions once he was in a place to deliver. Kudos to him - onward and upward for him now I hope.
Even though I was disappointed when Hunt was dropped, I understood why. But it was great to see him doing his thing last night. In patches I thought he was super. He will always have a few "Frosty" mind fades or mistakes but his line breaking is invaluable.
You gotta love Hibbo - he reminds me of a 1980's footballer. Socks down, unkempt, untidy but simply a natural footballer with a great brain and a great kick. I will never forget his run with the Premiership cup in hand.
Absolute shockers from Weid, ANB and Jackson (he had a few patches of good footy).
I used to quote the phrase "OK boys, spread out" whenever Fritsch was kicking for goal. His reliability was atrocious. Not now. One of the classiest players we have produced in along long time. A very good mark, a wonderful kick, a better tackler than you would think with his slight build, and cat like reflexes at ground level. Nowhere in the same stratosphere, but he is classy in the way Robbie Flower was.
I love Demonland after a win!!
Have always thought Sparrow was fantastic
my favourite little moment last night was in maybe the third quarter he got into a bit of a scrap and was holding two blokes by the jumper at arms length, one in each hand.
He’s only a little fella and when you meet him and chat to him he seems like he’s about 12, but gee he’s a tough kid and really cracks in.
As for BT grouping him as a player ‘pressing for his spot’, how laughable.

Great win by the team.
Weideman would be lucky to play again for us, he was terrible all night. Didn't touch it until the second half in a game where we dominated the inside 50s.
He just can't read the ball in flight. On the lead and on the chest he is fine, but once it goes overhead and in a contest he is no good.
I'm convinced it is his eyesight.
My dad worked out I needed glasses when I was a teenager when I kept running under the ball.
You’re probably on to something here.

I'm very happy
The lot of the average sports fan is disappointment. Most teams are just average, up and down, inconsistent
Other than Freo and Geelong we have been competitive every game, sit second on the ladder and are right in the mix for a back to back. We have problems and concerns but compared to others we are in a great spot
A stretch to say we weren’t competitive in those two games

In that case he's got a notice period of 2 months to go and the company is better off walking him out of the building.
Oh I think it’s just human nature.
and plenty of companies do exactly that.

Playing football isn’t like a typical job. It is played out in the public arena, where a brand is built.
And if he has indeed ‘checked out’, that says a lot about him competitiveness and commitment to his teams, while playing for a team that is 2nd on the ladder and in a match against an arch rival
Mate, football is a job like any other, public or not. We fans think it’s way more than it is.

if so then an aware coach wouldnt play him!
One, the coach might not be aware. I certainly haven’t telegraphed my plans to move jobs before I had to.
Two, he might not care. Even when I’ve quit jobs my bosses have all made sure as [censored] they get their pound of flesh out my notice period and why would footy clubs be any different?

No, it looks like one basically [censored] team and one very good horribly out of form team thrashing around playing footy on a beach in thongs
