  1. Time this club stood up and said we've f u c k e n had enough!
  2. That's true. That was disgusting
  3. Hogan gets reamed so often I have no trouble at all with him getting a freebie
  4. Jeffy in second gear! Great goal
  5. How good was Gawn's pick up and pass then
  6. Especially after Goodwin bear hugged him after the game.
  7. Nev was quiet, you're right, and their small forwards did kick a few. And he has so many credits I'd never call him a passenger. Salem was fantastic - he was clean and hard at it every time he went near it. Jones, yeah, you could argue he wasn't too damaging, but see Nev above.
  8. It's just such a ridiculous comment to make. If you look at who you might target: JKH had 10 tackles and 15 odd touches. Vince wasn't great but didn't do buckets wrong. Only made one really glaring error, and killed some really dangerous balls coming in. Jeffy didn't touch it much but kicked 2 and was involved in a few more Frost had one absolutely idiotic Sam Frost special but was excellent other than that. Hannan was, definitely, quiet, but put heaps of pressure on and was thereabouts mostly. A bit of luck and he'd have had 2-3 goals I just can't think of anybody else SFebey might be talking about
  9. Brayshaw does this stuff way too much - he actually got caught in two minds and so went to kick it, but went to pull the kick and got it wrong. Only knock on his game at the moment.
  10. Efficiency. We kicked 7 goals in 12 minutes, and it was a procession from Gawn to Oliver, Petracca or Brayshaw. On the disposal side, we were far more direct. Oliver kicked it. That's a big part of it. On the down side, in the first half we struggled, Max's dominance wasn't captured by clearances, we couldn't stick many tackles, and let them muck around with lots of dinky possessions.
  11. Name them. I genuinely didn't see many. Hannan was quiet. Who else?
  12. I thought he was good, and was involved in some key passages. He got better as the game went on, which is fair enough given his time away. I'd keep him for sure. Who are you going to drop him for?
  13. People like you bore the crap out of me. You're team has just won by 50 points. Whinge when we lose, not when we win. Just freaking enjoy yourself. Who the hell comes on the forum 10 minutes after a solid win and complains that the oppo were rubbish?
  14. Has to be Tyson We've got team balance just right and has to just be like for like. Definitely leave Salem where he is - he was fantastic today. I'd like Bugg back anyway - we are better with him.
  15. A few weeks ago Roos was on Triple M talking about how AFL has got its coaching structures all wrong, and that clubs should be far more focussed on deeply experienced coaches. He cited NCAA basketball coaches etc who were winning titles in their 60s, 70s and even 80s. At the time I thought it was a really odd thing for him to be so passionate about, given he had overseen the exact opposite with us. However, coaches like Bolton etc haven't got a hope in hell of lifting a crap team off the bottom. They need an Eade, or Malthouse type, despite their obvious limitations.
  16. Let's face it, we've been there/done that for many years. My default position is heart attack when pressure is on.
  17. I did notice this - touch wood, we have players like AVB etc returning, and have a pretty skinny injury list, whilst WCE, Collingwood, Sydney, Essendon and GWS in particular seem to be losing players at a rate of knots.
  18. Good solid win in the end. 24.13 would have been nicer!
  19. With respect, mate, that is a very, very long bow.
  20. No, but you can fault his lack of impact.
  21. I was just about to write - I've done a hell of a lot of whinging for what's going to turn out to be a 10-12 goal win!
  22. Are all you ANB whiners going to give him credit for the goal, or do you only pipe up in the bad times?
  23. They always seem to be at really inopportune times as well, and come as part of an oppo run on.
  24. Jeez umpires hate Jordan Lewis. Having said that, he gives away more goals from pure stupidity than just about anyone in the league I reckon.
