Weids ready to grab opportunity with both hands
Weids had 24 touches in that game. Not bad for a key forward!

How the New Recruits are Tracking
Interesting that Corey Wagner is training with the forwards. They may play him as a high half forward who pushes up the ground and back to goals with his endurance running. Hannan will want to get his body right and play some good footy.

Pert's Plan to Make the Dees an AFL Power
Iām an MCC member and 20 consecutive MFC member. But really the MCC/MFC membership is really an $87 donation as I get no real benefit other than supporting the club financially. Would it make a difference if the MCC/MFC membership was reduced to $50, as a donation as such. I donāt need yet another scarf or membership card that doesnāt gain me entry to games. They could save on this, print of bumper stickers, and postage.

"Melbourne Bust Out of AFL Ambiguity" The Guardian.
The article is incorrect when it says we kicked 5 goals from 12 scoring shots in the first quarter. We kicked 5.3.

Mr Jones
Not his best game yesterday but is sitting 5th in Demonlandās running votes.
-
Andrew Gaff
Tom Browne from On The Couch reported on the show tonight that Melbourne are the front runners for Gaff should he head East.
-
Angus Brayshaw
You may have been right on the day BD. I watched him closely yesterday. A game high 11 tackles, and hit targets off both feet. I think he has his confidence back.

Salem ready to make his mark
Hard as a cats head. Great game.

Stats-file 2018
Since the JLT this year I reckon weāve tried to move the ball forward from stoppages where we can. Last year we seemed to try to handball to the back of the stoppage which slowed our play down and often resulted in another handball sideways or backwards.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - OSKAR BAKER
And your wish came true! As well as getting this guy..

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Football Boss, Burton just stated Melbourne is Leverās preferred club. On SEN now.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
He can meet but can't sign.

Time to show Oscar some respect!
Watched him closely today. Everyone they bombed it in, he seemed to be the one launching from the back with the spoil. Well done Oscar! Keep it up.

Welcome to Demonland: Jake Lever
Ankle. Gun. Get him.
-
Clarence Oliver
Salem got the perfect 10. 8 to Clarry.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CLAYTON OLIVER
And from what we've seen and heard, they all love the contested ball, and relish laying a tackle. No backward steps from these blokes!!

Darcy Parish
http://www.sydneyswans.com.au/video/2015-10-30/draft-prospect-darcy-parish Clean hands, not afraid of the contest, nice kick and knows how to find the footy. Could compliment our young midfielders nicely.

Delistings/trades at end of the season
You'd think any pick under #30 would be a win from where he is currently.
-
Delistings/trades at end of the season
The journo's chatting with Harford on SEN said they believe Toumpas will play his footy somewhere else next year. Not sure on what the were basing it on but, just made a passing comment.
-
The Incredible Hulk - Jesse Hogan
David King was just on SEN talking about the best set shots at goal this year (minimum 20). Hogan is the fourth most accurate at 68%. In comparison Jack Riewoldt at 52%. Posters have commented on his stagnated run up. If he keeps nailing them, he could kick on his head for all I care.

Aaron vandenBerg
He is in the top few players for leg speed at the club. Don't you goevery week.? Numerous times he has easily beaten an opponent to the ball in a foot race to open space.
