  1. I’m keen to hear if KK is doing some decent running in his recovery.
  2. For any locals who can make it I’m interested to know if Petracca and Kolo are in the main group after some minor issues in recent weeks? Have Oliver and Viney joined in? Whose still in the rehab group?
  3. Weids had 24 touches in that game. Not bad for a key forward!
  4. Interesting that Corey Wagner is training with the forwards. They may play him as a high half forward who pushes up the ground and back to goals with his endurance running. Hannan will want to get his body right and play some good footy.
  5. $695. Includes entry to all cricket and footy including finals.
  6. I’m an MCC member and 20 consecutive MFC member. But really the MCC/MFC membership is really an $87 donation as I get no real benefit other than supporting the club financially. Would it make a difference if the MCC/MFC membership was reduced to $50, as a donation as such. I don’t need yet another scarf or membership card that doesn’t gain me entry to games. They could save on this, print of bumper stickers, and postage.
  7. The article is incorrect when it says we kicked 5 goals from 12 scoring shots in the first quarter. We kicked 5.3.
  8. Tom Browne from On The Couch reported on the show tonight that Melbourne are the front runners for Gaff should he head East.
  9. You may have been right on the day BD. I watched him closely yesterday. A game high 11 tackles, and hit targets off both feet. I think he has his confidence back.
  10. Since the JLT this year I reckon we’ve tried to move the ball forward from stoppages where we can. Last year we seemed to try to handball to the back of the stoppage which slowed our play down and often resulted in another handball sideways or backwards.
  11. Signed up our 8 week old boy this morning! Dad got his way naming him Oliver - after Clayton#13
  12. And your wish came true! As well as getting this guy..
  13. Football Boss, Burton just stated Melbourne is Lever’s preferred club. On SEN now.
  14. He can meet but can't sign.
  15. Watched him closely today. Everyone they bombed it in, he seemed to be the one launching from the back with the spoil. Well done Oscar! Keep it up.
  16. And from what we've seen and heard, they all love the contested ball, and relish laying a tackle. No backward steps from these blokes!!
  17. http://www.sydneyswans.com.au/video/2015-10-30/draft-prospect-darcy-parish Clean hands, not afraid of the contest, nice kick and knows how to find the footy. Could compliment our young midfielders nicely.
  18. You'd think any pick under #30 would be a win from where he is currently.
  19. The journo's chatting with Harford on SEN said they believe Toumpas will play his footy somewhere else next year. Not sure on what the were basing it on but, just made a passing comment.
  20. David King was just on SEN talking about the best set shots at goal this year (minimum 20). Hogan is the fourth most accurate at 68%. In comparison Jack Riewoldt at 52%. Posters have commented on his stagnated run up. If he keeps nailing them, he could kick on his head for all I care.
  21. He is in the top few players for leg speed at the club. Don't you goevery week.? Numerous times he has easily beaten an opponent to the ball in a foot race to open space.
  22. Watched Friday's game again. He is so strong through the hips that even when he is tackled he is able to stand up, get his arms free and dish off to someone else.
  23. What we were really lacking in the last few years was structure. Note that Neeld referes to 'structure'. If you look at the better teams, they have structure in defence, in attack, at stoppages, at kickouts etc. With the young talent we have, we will be a better team if each player plays a specific role and we have a structure as a team. We're yet to see this talk transform into good football, but I think the new coaching staff will give us every opportunity to succeed. Bring on 2012 and beyond!
