  1. I reckon that could be curtains on our season. Gawn looks absolutely shattered. Someone who has done 3 knees would know what is happening.
  2. Omg Gawn in the rooms. I reckon he knows. Iโ€™m going to cry.
  3. This is going to be a big loss in more ways than one.
  4. Totally. I literally donโ€™t care anymore.
  5. Pathetic midfield performance so far
  6. We are in trouble.
  7. Oh god we are [censored]. Gawn subbed out.
  8. WHAT IS HAPPENING WITH GAWN?
  9. Guys I canโ€™t concentrate on anything until I know Gawn is ok
  10. Oh god it looks like Gawnโ€™s knee. [censored] [censored] [censored]
  11. Three clean clearances to them. [censored] poor.
  12. Their small forwards terrify me.
  13. Iโ€™m nervous. Not going to lie. Brisbane are a hell of a lot better than they showed last week. They are also a much much better team than the Dogs.
  14. I mean of course they wonโ€™t risk him if he isnโ€™t right. But I think if we win and he is right to go they might still choose to give him one more week just to be extra extra cautious.
  15. They were never going to risk him. I thought it was laughable that theyโ€™ll let our third most important player, aged 30, only have a week off with a calf strain. If we win tonight I also donโ€™t think theyโ€™ll risk him next week. Itโ€™s a very very long season.
  16. Every coach would plan for and around May. Him not playing will change their plans.
  17. Troy Chaplin could not be less convincing that May will play. We clearly wonโ€™t risk him. We are just toying with Brisbane. They have to plan around May.
  18. So what youโ€™re saying is, heโ€™s the next Pendelbury
  19. A brain surgeon he ainโ€™t.
  20. Absolute balls. Canโ€™t catch a break.
  21. I did mention that the game is getting more and more about elite fitness and two way running. When Lions and Hawks won their 3 in a row the game was vastly different. It was still an incredible effort, no doubt about it, particularly for the Lions who were an interstate side, but it is certainly more and more difficult these days. Richmond did it most recently and had incredible luck with injuries. As you said when they lost Dusty to injury and luck ran out, so did their flag. They were also lucky that there was no other really outstanding team pushing them consistently in those years. For me the Lions 3 peat is one of the most remarkable of the modern era. They had a few outstanding competitors in Essendon and Port, and they also had to play away from home to win it.
  22. No opposition supporter wants to look at team changes and see May, Viney and Fritsch as the ins. It is definitely disheartening.
  23. I am loving the arrogance in this thread. Hope it pays off. I wonder if the Lions supporters are lurking around going โ€œcanโ€™t wait to beat these arrogant so and soโ€ ๐Ÿ˜‚
