Hasn’t helped that their midfield has been badly undermanned. A forward can’t kick goals if the mids aren’t getting their hands on it.

I hope our players go to the AFLPA and complain about this joke of a bye two years running. While at it, I also hope they complain about having to play in Geelong 😂

Might be a good opportunity for the boys to get together post bye with a night away. Geelong isn’t far but I doubt it’s ideal preparation for someone like Gawn to drive 2+ hours on game day (Geelong is not an hour away if you don’t live in the western suburbs which most of our players don’t). I know the guys from the peninsula way can catch the ferry across but it’s still a long journey. Every 1% helps!

No chance Oliver doesn’t play. Knowing how professional and dedicated and slightly unhinged he is, he is probably running 20km a day in the break. He will be fine. The man is a machine.

They won’t go undefeated for the rest of the season. They just won’t. Upsets happen all the time and their young small mids could easily get tired. Or injured. They could well lose to Pies, Adelaide, Geelong in Geelong. Hell Essendon might beat them. They beat us!

You might be right but neither Hibbo or Rivers have the height for Cameron IMO. And I’m not sure Hibbo has the legs to go with him for 4 quarters without blowing a calf/ achilles again. I would put Lever on Rohan because he is the least defensive forward maybe of all time, which will allow Lever to intercept more freely. Doubt Scott would let that matchup happen tho.

Agreed. Dangerfield is so important to them. Is Guthrie excepted to miss again next week? That also helps. If May shuts down Cameron and without Dangerfield we should win.
