With the amount of money the AFL has dumped into the GCS for no return, it would be negligent of them not to put a 3 time premiership winning coach into the role the minute he became available. There is no point putting in another no name up there. The only way this club gets anywhere, regardless of how great their list is, is with a big name coach.

We are no different to many other sides in contention. We haven’t suffered catastrophic losses in one specific area of the ground. It’s been more spread out across multiple areas, so easier to cover. Until Oliver and Fritta went down (I posted the above before the Fritta injury and before I knew Oliver was going to miss 3 months with a hamstring), it could be argued that we didn’t miss any key players for longer than a few weeks (I will give you Salem tho). Hibbo and BB were also not injured for the entire time, but rather managed. Both could have played more games if the need for them was dire. We chose to manage them in order to have them firing for September. Besides, at 30+ years of age, it’s very much expected that players will miss a few games throughout the season. The point I was making is that our injuries have not been significant enough to excuse us missing a top 4 spot. Especially when you considering the injuries Pies have dealt with and where they are on the ladder.

All we need now is to find some solid avenues to goal. Fritta is an enormous loss for a side so lacking in powerful forwards.

He is an incredibly smart player and an excellent finisher. If he could impact the contest for longer periods and get his defensive game into a better shape, he can definitely finish his career off on a high!

They could win only one of those games and I wouldn’t be shocked. Likewise they could win 5. They’re an enigma. Hopefully with their season dead they’ll stop trying.

Papalia is the best in the game. Actually tells me what’s happening and not what he had for lunch in 1975 when he also kicked 3 goals.

So far this is going swimmingly. Hopefully Carlton doesn’t Carlton this up!

Adelaide play an incredibly attacking game style. It’s why they’re my favourite team to watch (I will NEVER enjoy watching Collingwood). They also have an amazing forwardline. A star in every position. No idea how that translates into finals, should they make it, but my guess is, badly.

I watched that footage and my husband was like “wow he must be upset about his injury, he’s given up on his hair”. He is basically me when I’m having a bad week. The hair is the first to suffer 😂

When you get the job, make sure you carry extra hair product for when Fritta is back. Gotta get the hair looking top notch in finals 😂

King out for the season. Terrible news for him. Hopefully his career won’t be cut short by continuous injuries.

Trac was always going to be the classier player. He is a Norm Smith medalist for a reason.

Tomlinson playing says to me that they expect Petty to be fine for Friday.

We definitely want Freo to lose. Carlton pose no threat to us.

We didn’t play all that well, but we are a class above the Saints. We just had better players in every area of the ground, and we took our opportunities (finally!) If the Saints pick Trac over McCartin and he plays for them yesterday, well then they probably win.
