Need I remind you what happened to the last Pies player who fronted the tribunal for a violent act? I don’t trust the MRO and the POS who runs it to make correct calls.
Maynard will be booed by Melbourne fans for the rest of his career. We still boo Zorko! I will spend the rest of my existence holding pure unadulterated hate for that subhuman, and somehow I don’t think I’m alone. I’ve never seen a player who is more determined to win and gives absolutely everything they have every second of every game. Jack doesn’t know the meaning of not going at 110% and we are lucky to have him lead our club.

Same, it's possible he has a bruise still from that game and it got knocked again at training, and they have decided to scan it just to make sure there's nothing sinister going on. I wonder if Petty will suddenly decide to stay when we inevitably put a multi million dollar extension in front of him, something we didn’t do last year when we had a lot of other things going on and Gus was still on the books. Let us see how this plays out. I still don’t think the “go home” factor is real given where his family live. It could just be about his partner who I believe is from SA. But hey, for millions of dollars he could pay for her to relocate to a far superior city 😉

Not winning the flag last year will haunt me for a long time. It was ours for the taking, but injuries, bad kicking and one POS who shall remain nameless, ruined it. Supporters will say we are no good because of our straight set exists, and that is definitely something we need to own. But we have been a dominant side for 3 years in a row now and we need to not lose sight of that.
Who cares when they fly to Adelaide? Are you their wives? Let the club do what they think will work best for this absolute BS of a fixture we’ve been lumped with.
Would be fantastic if he could come in against Adelaide. Will especially help if Petty needs to play down back in the absence of May and/or BB needs a rest.
Salem was moved to the backline immediately once May came off not because he’s a like for like, but because he helps with leadership and direction. I suggest the same will happen this week. This is where losing Gus just sucks even more. He would be the general down back in the absence of either May or Lever.
