Get to the โG!
I am sure if you came, you can come sit in the members bays and you won't have to deal with it. There are plenty of empty seats always in M50-M52 I report anyone in black and white who attempts to walk into our section straight to the MCC security and have them removed. Yes I am that level of petty! I won't go to away games against them anymore, except finals. I should have made that call a few years ago when I had to report one of their supporters for racially abusing Jetta, but the Gus incident last year was the final straw.

If you're not deathriding the Pies every season, you are doing football wrong

What's more likely, Houston staying at Port, or Port winning a flag under Ken?

Yep I'm fairly sure that if Trac was going to announce his retirement, or his defection to another club, it wouldn't be done at 7pm on 7mate. It would have been all over the news by now. There are only 2 options here: - he comes out and says he's committed to the club - he comes out with uncommitted fluff and talks mainly about his injury It smells very much like a calculated PR move from his management.

"You could have had me, instead you have Shultz" Funny that Pies fans think that if they had a first round pick this year that would be enough to get the deal done. Delusional as they are toothless.

Trade Targets
I would say that if there wasn't already an in-principle deal, that we wouldn't be so forthcoming with the whole thing and would say "he is seeking a trade home and we will work with all interested parties to see if a deal can be reached". My best guess, going off absolutely no inside intel btw, is that we have a deal more or less sorted with the Crows. I reckon we get our second rounder back from them, which means it's essential McAdams for Nibbler, which is not a good trade unfortunately.

I would be frankly shocked if he is convincing one way or another about where he will be, or wants to be next year. IMO this will be a PR exercise to quiet the negative narrative around him. We will be none the wiser afterwards.

Kate Roffey
100% I have my own thoughts on our board, and certainly they are far from perfect, Kate included. But what I do like is that our board stays far away from football matters in a public sense. Brad Green would be the only board member who should have any type of involvement in the footy department, given his experience. Kate and the rest of the board should be concentrating on governing the club, not running commentary on every players' trade status for goodness sake.

Trade Targets
I don't see the big deal with Adelaide dropping Rachele. He's a young player, and the Crows obviously have given him things to work out that he isn't doing. It could be things that to the naked eye are impossible to judge, like two way running or pressure acts etc. It's definitely not unusual for a young player, especially one in a role where it is difficult to always be making an impact, to be dropped. I highly doubt they would even entertain trading him.

Delistings 2024
For his sake I hope he gets a deal somewhere else where he can be best 22. While not a perfect player by any means, he's certainly good enough to play more regularly than he has with us.

Woey on The Front Bar
When Woey was traded to Collingwood I was still in high school. My best friend at the time was also a mad Melbourne supporter and Woey was her favourite player. When he was traded, she no joke took a week off school because she was so distraught. She was hysterical. He used to be my neighbour, and she went to his house and left him a note to say how upset she was he was leaving. It was giving stalker energy. I have lost touch with her many moons ago, but whenever I see Taj running around I think of her and wonder if she's smiling watching another Woewodin run around in red and blue.

Oh ffs Did any of these clowns stop and think that maybe, just maybe, Trac was putting on a happy face and telling his teammates he was doing ok when asked? How many people do you know who put on a smile, while deep down theyโre struggling?! It is entirely plausible that Trac felt a sense of responsibility to maintain the upbeat tone that heโs so well known and loved for amongst his teammates. Itโs entirely possible that when his mates asked how heโs doing, and of course they did, he said heโs fine. Maybe he wasnโt ready to tell them how badly he was struggling, or maybe he didnโt know himself how badly he was struggling either, until he had time to process.

Sure, but where does Carlton get 2 first round picks from, including one in the top 7? Their future first is not worth a punt either. Plus they have to convince McKay to leave. Heโs got like 6 years left on his deal too.

Christian Petracca
Would have to trade one of McKay Curnow or Walsh as part of the deal to free cap space. I canโt see it happening
-
Christian Petracca
I asked a genuine question. Who has come to the party with a trade that would satisfy the club? Surely you were told something to make you believe he's as good as gone.

Dan Houston
If he doesn't have his charge reduced at the appeals board, then I reckon you are spot on ๐
