This is exactly why if we want to, we can keep Weideman. Things change really quickly. In 2018 he played in our finals campaign when Hogan went down. I bet Petty didn't think he would be holding down FB in a finals team this year either. Bowey was probably told you're in for a few weeks, show us what you got. Now Hunt has gone down for maybe the rest of the year, and suddenly he can cement himself in a finals team.

It 100% would not surprise me if this latest outbreak in Victoria is from scumbags who got through the border restrictions.

I think we will rest a few players this week in preparation. The inclusions in the extended bench tell me it’s looking likely. We will need to beat Geelong most likely to give ourselves a shot at top 2 and the right to pick a venue wherever that may be. So in that sense resting this week makes more sense.

Correct. When I used to fly to China for work the airline staff at check in in Melbourne would check that I had my visa. Why can’t we enforce check in staff in the airports around Australia to check travel permits? Airports aren’t exactly busy right now!
