CASEY: Grand Final vs Southport
Chandler not taking first option has cost Casey twice.

CASEY: Grand Final vs Southport
Well done. Weideman. Second effort JVR and great finish from Woewodin Weideman has to play ruck. There’s no better position for him.

2022 GRAND FINAL
And Geelong get no advantages of course 😂 I understand that for the sake of your marriage you must pretend like you want Geelong to win.

2022 GRAND FINAL
I suggest a lifetime ban for anyone who chooses Geelong as their preferred winner.

FINALS 2022: Week 03
Just here to say SUCK [censored] COLLINGWOOD! Poetic justice that you went out the way you’ve won it all year. Now Sydney, for the love of god, do us a solid and smash Geelong next week.

FINALS 2022: Week 03
How we lost to that team last week is beyond me. Geelong got their grand final. Well done to the AFL and ol brother Scott for ensuring it happened. Hope they get smashed next week.

Port chasing Kozzy Pickett
Tom Browne is about as reliable as a wet paper bag in a sandwich shop… but I’ll take it!

Lives with Jackson and Bedford. One is gone. The other is maybe gone too. Not ideal if he’s already not loving Melbourne.

Why aren't we a destination club?
Money. Opportunities to be embedded in the starting 22. Money. You need to remember that clubs like ours with a fairly strong and settled and young list is not going to be a good destination for young players on the fringe. Unless it’s a specific role we are lacking or unless you are an established player like Grundy, or someone happy to fill a role to remain on a list (see Dunstan), the proposition of competing for a role in a strong club with an equally strong VFL side won’t appeal to most young players. We are in a phase of existence where we can target very specific players for very specific roles and promise them success. We don’t need to throw the kitchen sink at every player out there. It’s a waste of time. I rather we target who we really need, like we have in the last few years (May, Lever, Langdon etc). One big key signing is much better than 3 random fringe players.

Why aren't we a destination club?
We signed arguably the two best players in the competition for 7 years. We are a destination club for champions.

Port chasing Kozzy Pickett
Losing Kosi would be an absolute disaster. Not just because he’s such a rare talent, but he’s also remarkably marketable and a fan favourite. Gotta put a big deal in front of him and get it sorted asap. No issues giving him 5 years. He’s only 21.

Clayton Oliver now 2022 Brownlow favourite?
And has less competition for votes within his own team.

- Oliver's fault he was gouged in the eye

Farewell Luke Jackson
Clarkson would. It’s zero risk for North. They have endless cap space and could get him for even one year and then trade him back to WA
-
Farewell Luke Jackson
He will walk into the PSD and get picked up by North or he will sign on with us. Neither of these things will happen tho.

Farewell Luke Jackson
They can split that pick with another club. It’s not all over. It’s barely even started.

Farewell Luke Jackson
And so we should. He’s not even 21 and he’s already a premiership player and rising star winner. We invested heavily in him and did all the early work to develop him under the best ruckman in the game. If you think he’s worth the same wage as Max Gawn is earning then he’s also worth two top 10 picks.
