TRAINING: Wednesday 1st February 2023
This really is very disappointing. I understand last minute changes, but it's not like they didn't know early enough to inform the players. If they can inform the players they can surely post a message on social media at the same time. There are literally a million 20 something year olds who are dominating social media right now. How hard would it be to hire someone to really get that side of the club up and running properly? Hell I am sure you could find some mad Dees fans who would even do it on the cheap or in return for some inside access to the club.

Kozzy Pickett Re-Signs for 4 Years
Listen if I need to move his grandma, dog breeder, best friend and cousin into my house to help Kosi sign with us long term, I am more than happy to kick the kids out and move them in Just make it happen Dees.

2023 Pass Mark
H&A pass mark: Top 4 finish Season pass mark: Prelim If we can stay relatively healthy, then I think we have every right to expect we make the Grand Final.

Kozzy Pickett Re-Signs for 4 Years
You would think so now that Jackson has left. I also don't think money is a factor for Kosi. Port would be pretty tight with their cap too you'd imagine.

Kozzy Pickett Re-Signs for 4 Years
This sounds too much like the Jackson situation all over again. Losing Kosi will be a really bitter pill to swallow.

And still with the cap of shame. Anyone know if it’s the same hand he had surgery on?

Alan Richardson on 3AW: What is Fueling Dees Fire in 2023
I’m glad the club recognizes how unrealistic that 2021 finals series / season was and how impossible it is to replicate such a perfect dominance. It was a once in a lifetime performance we will never see again, and we need to stop trying to fall into the trap of wanting a repeat of it. lol @ Richo talking about the “websites” talking up JVR 😂

TRAINING: Wednesday 25th January 2023
Surely someone knows something about Lever. Too important to miss a chunk of pre season.

Have the Dees ever played a significant game?
Will also go down as the night I got incredibly drunk in a pub in Adelaide post game (using a fake ID) and a Port fan tried hitting on me and I told him to [censored] off. Good times.

Anyone with any inside info on what is going on with Lever?

I died several times.

TRAINING: Friday 20th January 2023
Anyone with some inside info about Lever’s ankle? How severe is it? Also is Joel Smith ever not rehabbing something? I swear he is never not injured. Poor guy.

2023 Injury List
The press release is the only reason I am panicking. Why even mention it when the season is still far enough away that a regulation hammy will be well healed in time for round 1?

TRAINING: Friday 13th January 2023
Gus has said himself that he was never blessed with a good rig and could never get that super toned look some of the other boys have, no matter how fit he was. Not everyone has the same body shape, and the beauty of AFL is that great players come in all shapes and sizes. If Gus is aerobically fit, whether he has a 6 pack or a 2 pack is absolutely irrelevant. Jack Watts always looked like a god out there, but it didn't make him the player we all wanted him to be. Gus has proven time and again that he can play multiple roles to a very high level, and was one of our best players in that third quarter in the grand final just 2 years ago with basically the same body shape. To doubt him now because he isn't sporting a Petracca physique is silly. Ed Langdon is not ripped either, but nobody is having a go at him. P.S.- if only all of us can be this 'unfit' 😅

TRAINING: Wednesday 11th January 2023
Hopefully Clarry has no complications with that finger. The fact that he isn't even there running laps is a worry. I suppose he could just be home with Covid.

TRAINING: Monday 9th January 2023
They might not be pretty, but for athletes who value their feet, they are probably the best 'open' shoe option they can wear. Sure beats thongs.

Farewell Brodie Grundy
He seems like a really nice guy. No wonder Collingwood wanted him gone.

TMac Close to Resuming Full Training
The chances of JVR or Brown playing 25 matches each next season are 0 We need to have patience with JVR and understand he is unlikely to go from no AFL games to playing a full season as a key position forward, and likewise Ben Brown will never be able to get through a full AFL season again and will have to be carefully managed. I think JVR will play early and they will manage Brown to be cherry ripe for finals.

Your top 3 wishes for Season 2023
1. JVR comes on and shows us he’s capable of being a future KPF star 2. Kosi signs a long term deal 3. We beat Geelong in all games

Curse you to hell Selwood.

TRAINING: Friday 16th December 2022
So other than Gus it sounds like our best 22 are all tracking well. I am surprised and happy to hear that Ben Brown and Tmac are both training fully as I expected both to be limping around on mobility scooters in December.

Training Ground?
This obsession needs to stop. Yes we want to have an all in one purpose built facility, but anyone who has been to Casey knows that it is a good solid facility which is getting a massive facelift thanks to a local government keen to grow and develop the area. Our players are hardly turning up to a rat infested Junction Oval and sharing a single dumbbell between them. Likewise AAMI Park has his advantages as we get to share some IP with other sporting codes. There is nothing terrible about our facilities set up at the moment. We won a flag with these facilities, so it's certainly not hindered our success. The reality is that players live far and wide. For some Casey is convenient (certainly it's quicker to get to from the Peninsula than getting into the city), for others it is not. Such is life. Very few people live 10 minutes away from their job.
