I don't think it will happen either. But 25 goals from 14 games this year in a cellar dweller team, not bad at all. He looks fit as at the moment and according to all reports really got his mental health under control

Seriously what is up with this guy? I’ve never seen a 200cm forward other than Ben take as many two grab marks in my life, he doesn’t have soft hands at all, he could be an amazing player if he let the ball sink into his hands instead of trying to volleyball spike it every time he goes for a mark. And he is constantly outbodied unless the ball is lace out to him….. frustrating to say the least!
  9. I agree with you. i love bedfords run and carry, its exciting and you dont know what you are going to get when hes around the ball. I think ANB needs a spell and put bedford in place.
  10. This issue has the potential to galvanize the club really. We can have a big love in, and people can tuck their egos back in their pants and have an all in love session. Apologise for indescretions, apologise for the terrible communication and behaviour, and vow to be a better man. It will be hard to get over for some people but if people can let go and forgive and move forward, this can turn into a big positive for the club internally. It does really revolve around 1 player who needs to completely let his walls down, become a better human and team mate, and can strengthen our club no end
  11. Whilst Melksham is silly for punching on with May, I feel that hes done the right thing sticking up for teammates and bringing Mays behavior and drinking to a head hopefully. Its embarrasing and obviously we are without two players this week, but it highlights a big issue that potentially has been brewing for a while, May is a [censored] and one that clearly doesnt mind stirring the pot, but clearly too far.

Yeah it is, where the cheersquad is the two bays on either side of the CS are usually full up. we sit olympic stand M53 and the bottom level is full most of the time. AFL members side is always pretty empty

The so called level 1 wing you talk about (non mcc) is constantly full. It’s the sk Warne stand that is literally empty every week

His whole family lives in Melbourne apart from his grandparents. Worth a crack in my opinion

I’m only saying this for the brotherly pull and that Andrew’s parents live here. And he’s a bloody good footy player!!

Andrew would be moving to the reining premiers so it’s not as if he’s losing anything from a success point of view. being 30 myself I know I’d rather be with my immediate parents than my grandparents. think the sticking point will be Danielle. If she won’t move over there I doubt he will make the move! fingers crossed

I’m over yesterday it’s a loss we can’t win em all. We will be back. all this talk of Angus leaving, why don’t we try and get Andrew to come to Melbourne? Mark is well embedded at Levin Health and They won’t be leaving Melbourne at all.
  18. If Weid gets another game in the Red and Blue ill spew
  19. 100% rivers would go, Hunty stays in hes been fantastic this last month of footy
  20. looking at it that way I am not unhappy if we get 2x top 5 picks for him, and maybe a 2nd rounder also or a player attached. you are right we will be able to still be dominant without him, and get paid handsomly to do so
  21. i had a giggle when i saw that too lol
  22. But all you are doing is speculating, you dont know hes a deep thinker at all..... Hogan has left home twice now..... Jackson has repeatedly said he calls Melbourne home now, and to be honest anyone signing a contract before knowing what the cba rights are is pretty daring. Its all headlines and media driven rubbish, if he hasnt signed by round 16 then its an issue
  23. I would be concerned if he hasnt signed before finals but that wont happen, hes young and hes said repeatedly he loves Melbourne ( not the team) and hes not as coy as that other bloke that left us.
  24. im really confused as to why everyone thinks he will leave? Forget the go home factor his best mate plays with us, and he regularly has said Melbourne is his home now. Not only this but how many of you have been offered jobs elsewhere for 10-20% more than what you are currently on or have currently been offered? Why would you leave a fantastic environment for that? no one would unless they were disgrutled. WC can offer 800k a year, we can offer 700 and im sure as hell he would say yes to our contract over theirs. Its the same as Gus, they are waiting for the CBA to come out and then that will determine how much players are getting paid etc in the coming years. Nothing to see here.
  25. Hes a young kid that loves the dees and has just tasted premiership success. He isnt going anywhere
