Gus loves the Dees, and wont be going anywhere. I think Goody & Co got a taste of their own medicine for trying to play around with his position against North and Adelaide, we should see him play way more time in the middle now. Id love to see Viney played HFF, his pressure is outstanding

Id put Harmes on the wing before Hunt imo. I do like Hunt but hes an athlete before a footballer unfortunately. Harmes has runs on the board on the wing, use him to his strengths if not in the middle. Playing him off HBF is a waste. I would actually rather Viney play on the wing rotating with gus in the midfield dependant on match ups etc

We got Brown for backup along with Preuss, and they should be used for just that...

Im a fanboy for Lockhart but I think his position will be tenable this week..... he didnt have a great game and was sore afterwards. Rivers to break the lines maybe? Hopefully Lockhart can cement that back pocket type role as I think Jetta is sadly toast

Sorry my engrish wasnt great there, I meant he wasnt solely playing mid. 2nd half he was basically a Perm mid and really showed his talent.....finally!

Gus wasnt playing mid the whole first half though, he was being rotated on the wing and to the bench, Goody basically didnt move him from the guts only to have a rest i think twice in the last half.

Agree re Tomlinson. His man (Himmelberg) only kicked 1 goal and that was not Tomlinsons fault at all. happy with his first stint down there

I think a rotation of Trac and Gus in the midfield with resting HFF would be fine, Trac can be dangerous in the Fwd line but cant play midfield full time imo. juggling 5 of them shouldnt be too hard. Funny though the game turned when Gus was a genuine mid

I am! So many can't stand Tomlimson here. I think he did quite well down back and is much better than Oscar. Smith is a deer in headlights. Hopefully he can develop as a running tall hbf

Tomlinson back was fantastic. Clearly he hadn't played there much but hes a big body and can kick. His run was great as well. I'd love to see Goody persevere with him there. So much better than Oscar. And could play on tall or smalls
