  1. 11 straight wins and counting.....come at me brah B) Still hopeful i can snatch the minor premiership but seems unlikely.
  2. Just got a lot crappier. Out for 12 weeks with an ankle.
  3. Happy with Picken, he complements my side nicely. I have enough ball winners in my backline, i needed some grunt. High tackling backs are pretty rare too (Picken was ranked No.2 last year). With a new coach, maybe a new role, i think he could have significant upside as well.
  4. Didnt know it worked like that. Thanks for clarifying.
  5. Those settings all look fine....the bye weeks will even the playing field a bit. The one setting i don't like much - In season player position changes. I think if you draft someone as a forward or back they should retain those positions for the whole year (like in DT/SC). It could really mess up a teams structure if one of their forwards becomes a back or vice versa, especially with, dare i say, a smallish bench. Oh and Magner....pick 300 is my tip...you would be nuts to draft him any earlier
  6. That's because Watts spent most of the year across half back....80% of his possessions and marks would have been uncontested.
  7. Isnt that effectively what the captain's for though? I don't like the idea of having only 4 centres.
  8. Would it be possible to increase the max team size to 30? I dont think 5 on the bench will be enough to cover injuries and the byes.
  9. +1 for 12th March, more time to prepare.... First time i've done category scoring....looking forward to it! I'm Dark Days btw
  10. Not sure 9 reserves will be enough to see out the year with all the byes and injuries. 34 is probably the ideal team size this year.
  11. Honestly with that ^^^^^ draw i'd be disappointed if we didn't make top 8. I think the youth excuse is wearing pretty thin - we've got enough quality in the 20-25 age bracket and these players should be ready to take their games to a new level. Collingwood had a relatively young list last year remember.
  12. Their youngsters are a tad overrated methinks. Ziebell's a plodder with just OK skills. Guys like Greenwood, Atley, Cunnington can find the pill but have kicking deficiencies. And i dont rate Hansen at all.
  13. Winner of collingwood v sydney i believe
  14. Essendon have some tall timber down forward Hurley, Ryder, Carlisle, Cramari,Gumby - not sure we can contain them all with Frawley out. Hurley especially looked powerful against bris, StK.
