Mate, you seriously have no idea. Our first pick for Prestia would be a massive win for us, and a great vote of confidence in the future of MFC.- Delistings/trades at end of the season
His disposal averages and other stats over the last 3 years indicate how good he is. Prestia is a gun, 22 yrs old with 70-odd games, has another 8-10 years to play. Would give our first pick for him in a heartbeat.- Delistings/trades at end of the season
Good point. I'd forgotten about that- Delistings/trades at end of the season
Until WADA is out of the picture, a big NO THANKS to any Bombers. Can't carry them if a two year ban is brought down.- The No T$ No B$ Thread

Seems 6 year+ deals are the new black. Unbelievable that 10 yrs ago 3 yr deals were perceived as long, 2 yr was standard- Tom McDonald?
TMac is having a few poor games after numerous blinders earlier in the season. Big guys take more than 70 games to reach their peak, and as others have said he's only 22. Apart from his kicking he's a star. I'd rather he went with his first option and occasionally fail than over cook the disposal waiting for 3rd or 4th option each time like the toump- Delistings/trades at end of the season
Agree with much of what you say Tony. We are much improved in the midfield. But can you honestly say we have 10-12 mids of AFL standard like the better teams do? Not Bail or MJones. Vince has 2 and Cross 0 years left imo. Trenners is not likely unfortunately. Petracca, ANB and Stretch we are still yet to secure a 22 spot, maybe Vanders too. Many on here want Toump and Watts traded. That leaves NJones, Tyson, Brayshaw, Viney and perhaps Salem as certain good AFL mids. Thin, is the word I'd use to describe our midfield.- Delistings/trades at end of the season
I'd only trade up the draft order if the target we were after was an 18 yr old gun mid, not for a KP type. We still need more mids, particularly mids of high quality. That's been the priority for years (or should have been). Personally I'd be happy if the club traded it's first and second round picks if it meant we got a gun mid aged around 23, eg. Prestia, Treloar. Go get 'em Taylor!- The No T$ No B$ Thread

Possibly Stu, but being found out by injuries has probably got more to do with carrying guys that have limited ability such as Bail, MJones, Terlich, Fitzy, Spencil, McKenzie and possibly Hunt. In recent years it's also included Nico, Evans, etc. A rookie who's been on the list for less than a year and whose widely considered to have a deadly left foot is worth persevering with for at least another year IMO. Given Roos/Taylor/Viney selected him (as opposed to Neeld), he deserves 2 years at least.- The No T$ No B$ Thread

Interesting that the censored word in my reply quote was not censored in your original post Song, but no doubt will in the next little while..... - Delistings/trades at end of the season
