  1. Having a bull like Riv in the middle will also give them more flexibility to use Tracc forward. Don't need another bull in the midfield but need someone with speed and agility, skills and endurance in other words an outside player at the moment Viney, trac, ANB are all one paced, Oliver has some toe on him but he is more inside player.
  2. And the younger generation going WTF....
  3. For the life of me cannot understand the fascination of the training venue after all, players run round a field with football's and practice as long as the club is altogether so be it. Are people expecting a social club to be included if so that's years gone by thinking, also in reality how many members watch training bugger all and here is a fact if we make the finals and grand final and the training was at Casey it would still be packed all I want is the best facilities and conditions for the club full stop.
  4. Best Melbourne footballer I have seen in their prime.
  5. Fair point...
  6. 1. I think you are wrong there, first of all the backline is in good shape with several player that can cover injuries. 2. The midfield is good but does need a quicker type of player there as we are a little one paced when it comes to opening the play up but overall matches up with other teams overall. 3. The forward line has been our achilles heel since 21 and that had a lot to do with the game plan, but has been bolstered and will be interested to see if this years game plan has changed with those players coming in. 4. Overall we are still in contention but Goodwin must change the style we use, Langdon and Hunter must sop playing boundary side and centre attacking a lot more, Kossie should be used as an attacking forward not a defensive one all the time and go no more that the H/F line just like the pies used Elliot and Hill. Will be interesting year I say.
  7. Spot on, I think sometimes people expect a social club aspect to it, those days are well and truly gone as long as the whole club is there and facilities are of a high standard then that's great, and as George said, how many members watch training every week.
  8. Geez the new player with the bag of balls needs to step up his training progress if he's going to get a game next year....
  9. Ted used to work with me on the trucks as a jockey in the old days at a cigarette factory top bloke, so was his brother.
  10. What does Fullerton look like in training?
  11. Are you sure about that....lol
  12. And yet still no answer, keep trying junior...
  13. Well I coached under 19s juniors from under 13 -17s love your drive by answer looks like back up is coming.
  14. I will say this slowly because it seems you struggle to understand my post, I said before I answer, I then asked you a question which you seem to not answer at all so when you do that I answer you
  15. It's not my job to do your homework many people here know what I have said on this matter, I also asked you a question which you did not answer. Let's see what happens when you answer my question.
  16. I havre said it all before, so before I answer it why do you think we failed in 22 and against the pies in 23, 69 entries to 37 what does that tell you?
  17. Oh lets play the victim card Jesus I have on that many occasions explained myself if you are to lazy to read them then that's not my fault, and by the way where have I been wrong in 22 and 23 please point it out I will be waiting and as for me not accepting other explanations my suggest you look at yourself first.
  18. it's ok that's your view I don't agree with it, I just don't wear coloured glasses when I watch football we have faults you don't see them, I called it in 22 and 23 so i am interested to see in 24 how we go about it.
  19. Nah they would be stolen or shot down in Crimebourne.....
  20. Hate to tell you good teams make changes when they have to we one a flag in 21 and was bundled out in 22 and 23 in straight sets so do you think they will go with the exact game plan next year then?
  21. Good teams make changes and by the way we didn't beat the pies and we are.
  22. In 21 the game plan was contested football bring the ball down boundary side contest to contest worked well, we then went into 22 with the same plan and if you look it up I said after i think it was round 10 we would not win the flag with that forward set up said the same thing about not winning the flag in 23, sides figured us out but we kept doing the same thing. Which brings me to your second point we did not have any contested forwards to play that type of game plan regarding forward entries, so if it was our inability to execute the game plan who's fault is it then as they say the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result, remember we 69 entries into the forward line against the pies to 37 what does that tell you? Whilst adding Billings, Fullerton and McAdam should help I hope Goodwin changes how we move the ball forward I also hope he uses Kossie in a different way and by that I mean like the pies used Hill and Elliot, he goes no further than the half forward line full stop and then leads back and stop trying to take mark of the year all the time. We have a great backline strong midfield but need an outside runner as we are one paced there, Langdon and Hunter need to get away from playing boundary side and create more inside run. but thats the game plan at the moment and I hope it changes and i'm sure it will. In closing we create enough forward entries to win games but need to change how we go about it to win the next flag.
  23. Well I hope they change the game plan the last 2 years of it was our down fall.
