  1. Forget this year when obviously he's had his issues mind and body, but he also puts other players in no win situations or he just rushes his kicked and handballs.
  2. It must be hard for you to understand, just because I don’t excited over awards doesn't mean he doesn't he’s not worthy of them, but I will say B&F voting in most clubs are a bit strange to say the least.
  3. He is not elite in late 21 he started becoming an outside player and Viney was part of that change when he stopped trying to be a rugby player and just dished the ball off and Oliver was the better for it.
  4. I don't care about awards and by the way I haven't said Oliver is not a good player but you guys fawn over stats as if it's the only thing that matters and get blinded by them.
  5. I think it's this, but smarter people using the internet can confirm Disposal Efficiency 70.4 Kicking Efficiency 56.1
  6. It's a mixture of both that's why it a team game sport.
  7. No you some of you lot have no understanding of football and get excited over possession stats.
  8. Marcus Bontempelli has kicked 232 in 11 seasons even Josh Dacios has kick more goals than Oliver.
  9. How many goals has Oliver kicked over nine years well it's 58 not many for an elite midfielder as some say, oh by the way Nick Daicos is 8 goals short of him in 3 years.
  10. Yeah Richmond went well with their midfield....
  11. Sarcasm is wonderful.
  12. Don't blame him he wanted regular games we didn't do that, in a nutshell Goodwin didn't think enough of him full stop.
  13. You coach with what you have got and it would have been different if they had Gawn in those years as he was a better tap ruckman then, in regards to our midfield and will say it again one paced they have endurance but not speed, Viney, ANB, sparrow, Trac who will play more forward than midfield going forward, Oliver has some speed but a shocking decisionmaker, Kossie is not a midfielder for a couple of reasons and should be left as a forward full stop.
  14. Ports entries into the forward line is just playing into the cats hands.
  15. Now that's a big call and by the way should add year 24
  16. Well you clearly no nothing about football so I will leave it at that...
  17. Every game starts with how you want to set up first, so you are saying that the 2 main midfielders in Gawn and Viney cannot change it when things go wrong? Remember you only have 4 times to send a runner out a quarter and after goals but the players would would have the ability to be able to change it don't put it all on McQualter remember he was in charge of the midfield at Richmond when their midfield was flying so he has credits in the bank for that. You also seem to forget we had the same problems with Yze and he wanted to play a different game style for the midfield when he was there but he couldn't because of the gameplan, our midfield is one paced, lack foot skills, lack of decision making ability they are grunt players and until they change that we will struggle next year McQualter needs cattle to work with so to speak.
  18. Yes and no line coach's only coach to the game plan that Goodwin wants and we played a game style of contest to contest down the line style in 21, 22,23 and 24 mcqualter came fron the tigers who played move it forward at all costs and had the players to do that, we tried to change but everyone found out we didn’t have the pace, ball skills or football awareness to play it so we went back to what they knew. As for game day coaching and set-ups yes that falls on him and unfortunately Gawn is not a top grade tap ruckman anymore he's the best at around the ground by a country mile but his inability to jump at ball ups and throw ins doesn't help the midfield but by the same token the midfield should be able to change their positions when things go wrong plus the rules around runners for 2024, allowing them to only deliver messages four times per quarter, plus after every goal hasn’t helped. Will be interested in seeing who they draft and how they go about designing a gameplan moving forward.

    That all?
  20. In white's opinion, so he's right and McQualters wrong? so look at the truth Gawn has lost his ability to be a good tap ruckman but the best ruckman around the ground by a street, another factor you have 2 club leaders in the midfield and they cannot make corrections to set-ups come on you are clutching at straws.
  21. I am just amazed at the lack of people understanding football, people blaming McQualter for the midfield problems that has been a problem for three years, so he can only coach to the gameplan that was in trouble three years ago, one paced midfield, lack of kicking skills lack of players who are so robotic they lack football awareness no forward line but gee that's his problem, people seem to forget he was there during the tigers reign, how about people look at the root cause before you try and blame one man.

Unless he says so, who knows, we can speculate, but it's not true until he says it is.

So that's the best Morris can do, this is not the first time Morris has been wrong, I'm sure Trac has his issues but really the longer it went on the more he was going to stay.

Which goes to show nobody knew what discussions went on between Trac and the club then and now, if he wanted out that would have been done already, I listened to I think Gawn in an interview on MMM and thought yeah he's staying but needed to say what he needed to say, so there goes another media beat up wonder what they will say now he's staying.
