I was at the Globe too!! I was upstairs. There was more than one Demons' supporter there ... me and a friend, 2 guys (looked to be in their thirties) and another guy (Demons scarf) late 20s with 3 lovely women (who weren't Dees supporters). I was groaning when Macpherson was about to take the shot for goal. One of the lovely women turned to me and said "he'll miss". When he missed, she said with a smile "told you!!". (She was a Cats' supporter.)

I remember the match v Norf last year. I watched it at the Coogee Bay Hotel with my Sydney residing daughter, her then boyfriend and his father. We were down at half time ... Norf were really aggressive, and poor Lingers copped injured ribs courtesy of that charming man Taryn Thomas. (I spoke to him at Family Day ... he told me it was actually 4 broken ribs .) He was never the same after that. Hopefully those horrible Norf players won't be so mean this time.
