  1. I've had enough. I think I'll do some vacuuming ... and clean the bathroom.
  2. should have been ... front on
  3. Harmes tries to break tackles too often.
  4. Hilarious ... Geelong player punched when he had an easy mark. So Melbourne like.
  5. What a rabble ... Looks like my $100 bet on Jee-long is pretty safe.
  6. Fritsch ... then Pickett ... cue Benny Hill music.
  7. I met him while he was playing with MFC. Such a nice guy. Sorry to hear that Pia dumped him.
  8. They'll be going wild in Sydney town !!!!
  9. I don't mind watching filth matches. Makes it easy to decide who to barrack for. Go Giants.
  10. Take advantage of his strengths ... and that aint playing him off HB.
  11. The sustained lack of success is killing the club. The ability to attract new members must be dwindling every year. What kid without family allegiances to the Club would pick MFC as the club to support?
  12. Not an idiotic thought at all. Back in the old days coaches occasionally swapped FB and FF during matches. It has certainly gone out of vogue. Both TMac and May were having poor matches, so well worth a try. In particular Silvagni was quite often moved from FB to FF when the side was struggling.
  13. Spot on. Channel 7 seems to have him on retainer to comment on virtually anything (especially football & politics) on their news service. Can't stand hearing him or looking at his grotesque head.
  14. SPARROW AND PETTY FOR PORT'S FIRST RND PICK. ________________________________________________________________ Werridee, why would anyone think Port would give up a first round pick for these two? P.S. And stop shouting!! ?
  15. Salem
  16. Humpty dumpty ...
  17. I don't think it's something we need trouble ourselves giving consideration.

  19. Spot on.
  20. Steven May will be 29 years before the start of next season. So far the Club has got 9 games out of him. As events have transpired, not a great return on investment.
  21. He was an absolute freak before the knee problems. IMHO the player he was most similar to was Corey McKernan (at his peak). He was a very good player after that, but nothing like his former self. What might have been.
  22. Spargo would be an appropriate captain?
  23. Thanks BBP. I don't remember him at all. I was thinking of Graham Molloy, who was apparently his father.
  24. Didn't Glen Molloy play in the early 70s? Perhaps Glen Lovett?
  25. In case Demonlanders didn't 'get it' the man in the first photo is Philip Lowe, the head of the Reserve Bank who has been in the news a bit lately.
