Who would've thought Lynden Dunn would provoke a philosophical debate on the validity of Statistics in interpreting life from the half back flank? Not him I suspect! :-)
Arguably his best / only contribution for the year

Jack Fitzpatrick 6 Traded for a Carlton
small forward
This is going to come as a big surprise to Fitz, unless it's written in to the 2-year contract he signed last week.

Well done on a great career Flash, and all the best for the future.

I would think that if his body is up to it, he probably will play 23 games next year
26 including finals ..

The official data from the AFL won't surprise anyone here - 2013 has seen the club record its lowest home game crowds since 1978.
We averaged just 21,816 at home games this year, lower than the Bulldogs (22,128) and only slightly better than the Lions (21,178).
We had 8 games which drew fewer than 20,000, and 10 games under 23,000.
Taking into account away games - where clubs with more supporters bump up the numbers - we averaged just 24,580, which validates the argument that we are hurting not just ourselves, but the competition more broadly.
Across the entire competition, crowds are up two per cent against last year's figures.
* Found this in the 'Hun today, but it's not online.

Funny you say that. I noticed him trying to give his teammates a rev up at the breaks.
He's also very good at initiating those low-5 hand-taps with the other backmen each time we concede a goal.

If he wins he will get shafted by Turnbull.
No he won't.
Turnbull might be the darling of the inner-city progressives in Sydney and Melbourne, but take him into the 'burbs, or the regions, and you'll find that most people think he's a pompous [censored].
That he's the golden boy of Q and A pretty much sums it up.

Howe and Pedersen out, Nicholson and Strauss in.

James Magner's been upgraded and Mitch Clark placed on the LTI

Actually he's already signed with Freo.. he will make his AFL debut against Melbourne Sunday week.

Secondly, "analising" the list sounds pretty painful
Normally it would be, but when you get analised every week for 7 years you get kinda used to it, I imagine...

Seeing what a consecutive win would do to DL
I'd be happy if we could just get consecutive goals

Well, it's an away game, which means we'll get the same crap rights and privileges we got last week during the so-called MFC 'home game'.

I know one of the members of his ticket, Adam Jacoby - a bright young man - and I used to sit with his father at the footy when Melbourne was a successful club. A long, long time ago.
Small world.
I can't speak for his father but I know Adam and he grew up a Collingwood supporter ...

We had 2 inside 50's in the first quarter, surely a new low.
I saw Stephen Newport on the train home and begged him to come back.

Disagree OD. This is the sort of stuff that further convinces me that being a member is really of little worth to the individual. The club likes to cop the revenue but really we are treated like shite.
I think your anger would better directed at the AFL than the club in this instance BBO.
I spoke to the club today when I booked my reserved seat and it's completely out of their hands.
Obviously it's the league that makes the deal with the stadium, and does the fixture, and a combination of AFL / ground management that decides whether Level 3 is open or closed, and even dictates which bays / rows are allocated to MFC members.
I booked the reserved seat on the wing, and was disappointed to learn that we only have the front 3 rows to choose from.
Pretty shitty seats given that I fork out more than $500 for a premium membership, and the extra $10 for the Etihad reserved seat, and yet still have to sit virtually on the ground.
The club was sympathetic to my annoyance (not that it was much consolation).

Neitza?
Cracker?
Other than that, it's a pretty stock standard Mike Brady footy song, not sure why there's so much angst..

I have a lot of respect for Mike Brady. 'Up there Cazaly' and 'One day in September' are great historical footy songs.
He also released an album in the early '80's called Hall of Fame: The Songs of Football's Greatest Sons that had songs about players such as John Nicholls, Polly Farmer, Peter Hudson, EJ and Ron Barassi.
Was the soundtrack to my childhood and I still remember many of them by heart.

You should have received an email from the club about this a few weeks ago.
Premium members do not have a reserved seat this week, just entry to the ground.
You can pay $10 for a reserved on the wing on level 1.
As far as I know, level 3 will be closed.
Level 2 is best, but it's expensive, somewhere between $30-$50.

I hope he speaks out on this issue at some stage.
Great idea! Let's bring up the tanking saga again..

The Bluey

Jack Viney is going to poll well despite playing just 13 games.
Averaged 17 touches - more than half of them contested - 4.5 clearances, 4 tackles, and topped 20 possessions on 6 occasions.
Great debut in an injury-interrupted season.
