  1. I actually like that team IF fully fit. Not a bad effort by afl.com.au standards
  2. Battlegrave are very solid indeed. I buy pretty much anything that Bitter Loss put out in their label
  3. Could talk for hours about it but having breakfast with Enslaved or drinking free beers with Destruction and John Schaffer are a couple that come to mind. We were camping next to the lads from Alien Weaponry and their parents haha
  4. Waken 2018 in the VIP camp writing for Metal Obsession was a gooooooood time
  5. Here here. Also love to spin vinyl. Might crack out Warmaster, Scum, Necrotism and Battles in the North in honour of the conversation today 🍻
  6. Ill just leave this here 🤌
  7. Opeth 🤌🤌
  8. I saw the word Enslaved and thought 'now were talking' ❄⚔
  9. Ghaal is a mad man. I thought Satyricon was also a black metal fan but turns out he liked a movie by the same name 😅
  10. I had a post drafted about people with similar profile pics and how I subconciously merge them into the one identity. Then I realised I still have a stupid Christmas hat as my profile picture which I set around Xmas time in circa 2010ish and never bothered changing back 😅
  11. I'm glad Grundy is the sort of bloke who isnt over the moon to have been shipped out of a place he put so much time and effort into. Upto the coaches and his new team mates to turn that passion into a point to prove for his, and our, benefit. The bloke is a gun. I hope they play both Gawn and Grundy in tandem with one drifting back behind the play (Gawn for contested marks) and one drifting forward (Grundy with his mid-like footskills). Could do some real damahe
  12. A good servant who has probably made the right call for his career. Nothing against the bloke but seeing him move on doesnt phase me too much. Promised alot at various stages but was destined to be a perennial understudy at the dees. Backfilling him with another unfulfilled talent was a decent move too.
  13. I get that. I guess I just don't notice him at all when I watch their games, especially of late
  14. The two doggies lads that we've picked up are almost no names to me (says alot given I've watched alot of their games against us and generally). However I'm guessing our FD rate them and given we've studied the bejezus out of the dogs over the last few years it gives me confidence that they can play roles for us. Only had to part with a can of Coke and half a packet of twisties too 👌
  15. On paper we line up a stronger, more consistent team with Grundy in the side (rather than Dogga) for round 1 2023. Good outcome given the situation
  16. People crying about the deal forget that he isn't in contract so our 'hand' was never as strong as it would have needed to be to get 2 top 10 picks or whatever the talk was about at the start of the trade period. Pick 13 isn't shabby
  17. Take the emotion out of it and put it into a work context- another employer will give you a promotion and more money. You'd go for an interview for sure. Doesn't mean you take the job but you can't be begrudged for looking around
  18. We would only trade if the deal is right. Relax
  19. I rate him and have enjoyed his service, even if I've been known to call him Nathan Jones from Wish... But I assume the FD see a host if names infront or on par with him. Not dissimilar to Ellis leaving the tigers for the gold coast.
  20. I think his exit interview probably indicated that he might spend some time at Casey next year so feel free to explore options...
  21. Unfortunately with the big contracts for the stars the inevitable squeeze was always going to mean guys like Harmes and Hunt were likely to get better deals elsewhere. That's footy Unfortunately
  22. People that write off BBBB and Tmac for Petty and JVR are dreaming. JVR will hopefully play, and Petty has all the tools, but one of BBBB and Tmac will almost certainly spearhead our attack again next year.
  23. This is one where I'll have to trust the FD. I would be keeping him. If the kozzie talk is half true you'd think Bedford needs to stay. Having said that I think Chandler and a couple of others are also close to the small forward 22 slot
  24. Honest player and good clubman. Not surprised to see him get a better offer elsewhere given we have the depth to cover his role imo - probably a reasonable outcome for all
  25. I’m still getting over Chad Scott starting his speech with “I’d like to reiterate how much admiration we have for the swans, and for that matter the swans supporters who stuck around, you didn’t have to and we’ll always be appreciative of that”. Then he stayed on the podium for the team photos.....F-L-O-G
