  2. Takes one back to the little red book 📕 and Chairman Mao. The Gang of Four (never coach by committee) and The Great Leap Forward. Five decades on and Greater China is a global economic powerhouse. Mark Neeld sort out the Cultural Revolution, but got cleaned up when the Karma Team Bus got ambushed on the road to club perdition. Some posters are still reeling from the memory.
  3. Yes those long forward handballs are back.
  4. Thank you Ghostwriter. Camfield is adjacent to Optus so you won’t get lost provided you orientate Sou’ Sou’ West. Barn of a place. Rumoured to be the scene of Satyricon like excesses 25 September 2021.
  5. Bayley Fritsch is not a lost cause. It is unreasonable to deify a player and then proceed to crucify him when he proves to be a mere mortal. Take away a coat of varnish and his performance would match the output of Tom Lynch. And if you look very carefully there is some virtue in Tom Fullerton’s performance. Didn’t have a great night, but managed to do some of the team stuff. Must be daunting to get out Max Gawn’s shadow with limited opportunities.
  6. Good insight has the tools with his height, marking and kicking ability plus most importantly competitive mongrel. People seem to forget he had a fairly serious foot injury towards the end of the '23 campaign. Certainly not disgraced, announced his return, emphatically, to the forward line against the Dockers last week.

  8. 30 minutes ago, Demonland said: RARITY by KC from Casey After a shaky start in the blustery conditions, the blind key tall took command of proceedings in the second term with three goals showing great mastery in the air and with his kicking skills, adding another two in the third quarter. In the traditional of the great blues artists of a bygone time. Blind Willie McTell, Sonny Terry and the Reverend Gary Davis. The performance of Jacob Van Rooyen was truly remarkable given his reported disability. Given the dismissive vitriol another young forward received post game. He may unfairly receive the unwelcome epithet ***** Lemon Jefferson.
  9. I’d be scratching my head too Rab.
  10. joeboy - fair summation overall Thought it would be unlikely for Petty and Pickett to repeat last week’s heroics. But Fritsch and Petty did manage to contribute to the total score.
  11. Tom Campbell set the tone with a dominant ruck performance from the get go. Followed by the Casey on ballers. Riley Baldi returns as a much improved player. Mitch Hardie a worthy acquisition, Taj Woewodin not the most skilled or quickest but gets involved inside and out. Bailey Laurie aside from the silly late intervention, quite a solid contributor. Jai Culley can impose himself as an extractor but really needs to work on his kicking. Pup Brown some terrific moments but needs to add strength and polish. JVR and AJ as keys stood up and delivered. Jack Henderson not a lot of the ball but a very smart operator. Adams and Sestan are showing definite promise as defenders.
  12. Good tackle Jack Billings.
  13. Paddy wack 2 goals.
  14. Mitch has got the twitch! Triple!
  15. #64 Paddy Cross lovely goal! Ton is up!
  16. Bailey Laurie smart goal. After coast to coast team play.
  17. Paddy Cross’s cross excellent.
  18. AJ triple!
  19. Jacko nice goal! Radar re-activated.
  20. Laurie kiss and makeup. Nice goal.
  21. Five flagpoles on the scoreboard . KC with “Call Me The Breeze”.
  22. Just a very silly boy otherwise a contributor.
  23. Adams will be a player.
