JVR is completely invisible at the moment except for giving away stupid frees, may as well sub him now. So sick of these guys never getting any better at forward play.

Watching the worst kicking team in the comp try to play keepings off by going backwards to switch is seriously circus music stuff. Embarrassing game plan, they are officially out of ideas.

Classical typical same old Melbourne. Except our forward line is even worse this season. Remarkable. I know we were arguably the better side for 3 quarters, but jeez, there were some weak efforts out there today. Very tentative, fumbly and low skill efforts all over the ground. McVee, Tholstrup, Windsor all with weak efforts in the last and Oliver's lack of interest cost us all day. The slow switch worked maybe one out of 20 times? Painful. It's just sh*tty football to watch. 3-7 after next week is diabolical, Goodwin MUST GO, this is his forward line.

Couldn't really enjoy the win due to the disgusting last 10 minutes and to be honest most of the first half. Seriously, some of our kicks missed targets by 20 metres. Handballing not much better. We're not making finals guys, lets just hope we get a couple more games like last week, because tonight was mostly diabolical.

Finally showed some spirit. Controversial opinion - but if we don't make finals, I think it might have been better for the club long term if we'd lost that game. I hope I'm proven wrong but I'm convinced Goodie is not the way forward and this is just delaying the inevitable.

Past the point of caring about this team. There can't be anyone sane supporting Goodwin now.

We're actually becoming an embarrassment to the AFL. There's been some ripping games across this round but we are just dragging it down.

This is just a horrendous game to watch, let's be honest. The only promising thing is that Steven May has miraculously recovered from a career ending foot injury.

About 25 minutes of effort combined with a consistently putrid display of skills and forward half decision making. Van Rooyen. Give him a spell, that was a disaster of a game. We have so many deficiencies, it is impossible to see us fixing enough of them at once to even be competitive.

Agree. We are a poor kicking team for years now, with ongoing deficiencies in forward connection. Doesn't matter who we play, we're going to be giving them a lot of chances.

This is unwatchable. I can't believe the mistakes we are making. Giving away basic and clumsy free kicks, fumbling, going for chest marks in attack in defence. This team is kidding themselves. The only thing keeping us in it is that they will make mistakes of their own. If we're going to lose, make it a big one so Goodie gets more pressure on him. I want him gone before it's too late.
