Richo’s Praise of Luke Jackson
Personally I reckon Rivers is right up there with him, and after a few more seasons withMAY and Lever will be THE defender in the AFL.

Angus Brayshaw
He has football brain and thats not nothing. Helps out in defence many times over the season and still one of our best in one-on-ones overhead.. A keeper IMO

Tommy Sparrow
This is why I think Bowey has made such an impression. He has lots of qualities that Sparrow has, who I think is a great tackler, but Bowey is a excellent disposer of the ball and that quality stands out against many others in the team.

CHANGES: Rd 23 vs Geelong
Kayo also reported in this this afternoon at 1/2 time via John Ralph.

CHANGES: Rd 23 vs Geelong
Agree on Melksham. He's shown enough since back and a proven goalkicker.

Johnny Ralph on kayo
Johnny Ralph agreed with your comments, except he said the tackle was late and ball was not in vicinity. Subbed out with concussion then means weeks.

POSTGAME: Rd 22 vs Adelaide
Great forwrad planning by coaching staff w.r.t game time for key palyers. Max played least ground time for the year I suspect with only 78%. Similar lower numbers fro Oliver and Petracca. The only high TOG were ther ususal suspects of Lever (only player with 100% on the ground), Langdon and Petty.

Just said Hawkins will be suspened and cats will take to tribunal. He thinks it was late and will get a werk. And he shows Round 23 cats vs dees now at mcg. May be a typo ..........

GAMEDAY: Rd 22 vs Adelaide
Absolutely. No May. No flag. Or even prelim.

GAMEDAY: Rd 22 vs Adelaide
Why is may out please?

GAMEDAY: Rd 22 vs Adelaide
I would welcome the chance to play a team that hasn't beaten a top side all year in Port (rather than Geelong) for first week of finals.

GAMEDAY: Rd 22 vs Adelaide
Agreed on this CB. Win today and were' playing for top next week and will be above the Dogs. Also, looking at the losses this year, I believed at the game that GWS are worthy finalists after their win against us, the Hawks showed they a a good team yesterday and the draw could be called noteworthy (?), and the Pies had the Buckley emotion. Adelaide were the only outlier in the Dees performance this year. Lets put that to bed today and we have beaten just about all comers so far this year. Self-doubt inside the club would be non-existent going into finals.

NON MFC: Rd 22 2021
Agreed. But the Adelaide Oval is do-able crowd wise and the least-worst option for travel. But with a Chief Health Officer who has no understanding of AFL, or ball games in general, I suspect we'll be locked out anyway.

NON MFC: Rd 22 2021
We need to finish 4th to meet cats in QF which is highly unlikely. 2nd or 3rd only. With cats on top.
-
NON MFC: Rd 22 2021
I am hoping for 2nd with cats on top. Then dees and cats straight into prelim after week 1. Only meet cats then once in gf. The trick in top 4 is to win week 2.

The mrp is a joke but i would think Christian looks at at least all incidents involving concussion and especially being subbed off. A week probably coming up for tom.
-
NON MFC: Rd 22 2021
The afl own the grounds during finals so to speak and set ticketing policy. Thus if we play in adelaide there will be many more dees fans getting over there and wont be anywhere near a full port crowd.

NON MFC: Rd 22 2021
Saints winning see the dees the most probable mclelland trophy winner.

Steven May interview - SEN
Imagine just how good Petty and Rivers, and probably Bowey, will be in the future after playing under May and Lever fo 2-3 years.

Finals 2021
And if it was against the Dees, the tackler, probably Selwood's tagger Jack Viney, would be cited by the MRP and get the GF double penalty and be rubbed out for 2 weeks, escalated to four for carelss high contact and medium impact. And Dangerfield, in his capacity as President of the AFLPA would note the following Monday he thought the act wasn't an in-play act andthus be deserving of a suspension with the MRP getting '..about right.." He will have already have been cleared of knocking out Dees playmaker Kozzie Pickett in the first quarter. Now tell me that's not an unrealistic scenario.

Finals 2021
Possibly the most bizarre yet funnily possible post of the year.
