  1. I am a firm No, until they try it and he kicks six snags (and we win).
  2. At the risk of upsetting my friend @Ghostwriter, and a few others, and not disrespecting hs fantastic '21 GF, but I have Bailey F getting 2 more matches to show some form. Something is off, I accept that he has been hindered by injuries for awhile, and this is meant to be his first good pre season in a long time, but I would like to see more endeavour. I was however super pleased with Bowey's game last week, the arc of his kicks were much flatter, I was really worried he'd lost it. And I am firming up on Windsor through the middle before Langdon and Rivers.
  3. 99.9% Somalis (is always weird finding that odd South Sudanese or Yemeni in a Somali camp-why would you come here) anyway they internally displaced and haven't crossed a recognized border, so we call them IDPs - from either conflict or drought _ we try as hard as to keep them where they are from, so they can continue producing their own livelihood. They are actually pretty good farmers - always ready to adopt better farming practises, regardless of how previous generations did it. 70% of our budget was USaid so things looking bleak, out of a job come July, but watching kids maybe ~2 days from death have their IVs/supplemental feeding switched off is infinitely worse.
  4. If you're in Oz I noticed the paid Nord VPN doesn't work anymore so you'd be stuck anyway.
  5. Research your email - I was in the same boat and only noticed by chance that it came in not long after the acknowledgment - some weird glitch. - if you are still struggling let me know and I 'll pm you
  6. All that chewing of meat.
  7. WTF, great finish but ruined by the ump not blowing the whistle for time wasting, that 50 was a joke.
  8. Bombers had plenty taking short steps, Hawks also have many routes to goal. The other thing that was scary is Essendon tried hard early, and Hawks consistently trusted players to do the job without crowding the ball. No offense to QD but Inside 50 is the most ridiculous stat btw, uncontested marks inside 50, that says something about offensive power or lack of defense.
  9. Injuries and suspensions make the result more palatable - Hawks look real, damn it.
  10. Loved it, several things stood out: 3 debut games - that is hopefully a good omen for us, well done to RFC on recruiting. Great for Yze after KC being a duckbit during the week. TDK has all the tools but desire, Jacob W has also gone soft, played for frees as did many of his team mates, I cannot believe VOSS coaches that. Richmond 33 don't know who he is but he annoyed the hell out of Cripps, now have a soft spot for him despite the ridiculous headband. Goal kicking is good football. I hate Carlton...
  11. FWIW - he can enjoy his football and commit, am getting mixed signal from watchers - some saying he is being rated on his Dad's credentials and others saying he is a talent in his own right (beyond his height) anyone care to comment on work ethic? observations on that are interesting to me, I would kind of expect him to still be a baby giraffe at his age/height, more interested in knowing he has that hunger.
  12. Here in Somalia (and other countries) the bane of my life is the supposed 'promise' of new software, we have a number of bespoke packages managing delivery of services to millions of beneficiaries. They are always rolled out in Beta, they never function as promised (let alone talk well to one another) cost fortunes to get service, and the management who poorly supervised the project are far removed (sitting in Rome or Nairobi) from a bunch of very hungry, very angry people who don't understand why they are not receiving the food/support they were promised. If I ever get killed it won't be by an IED from AS/AQ, it will be by some mad b@st@rd frustrated beyond belief. My fervent desire is for these managers to visit an IDP camp and receive 'direct' feedback, I will be happily holding their arms behind their back while feedback is administered.
  13. Done the email check, thanks again for your work.
  14. Just saying, that yes the CS logo was a mess, but it did one thing I loved - claiming the Eureka southern cross, which I thought was a brilliant idea as no other club has and I think the cross is an awesome logo and would quite happily claim it for the football club and get it away from the CFMEU, right wing crazies, and anyone else who didnโ€™t understand that it was about a fair go, justice and equality. Anyway soap box broken now, and yes overall it was too messy bar that one good idea.
  15. Ha ha - Jason Taylor says Hello. Do appreciate you not throwing players under the bus though, I lived for a season on Dawesโ€™s comment about that [censored] Rance sleeping in the back pocket.
  16. A Lego MCG set, would be a 'money no object item', And Max Gawn built along the Starwars line of figures would be perfect.
  17. Minor speealling mistake (-; N.U.P.H.Y. stands for Needs Urgent Psychiatric Help Yesterday, plural is Nuphys... I know that hurts some readers eyes! Remains my favourite slang from Policing.
  18. I prefer Salem Quarter-backing to on ball, and I actually think Windsor is such a jet I'd like to see him get mid minutes while rotating through from the Wing. McVee, Lindsay, Rivers for rebounding. Bowey is the question mark for me, I don't think he has the run for the wing and I want to see flatter kicking this season or he has become a liability, from training it sounds like he is doing that. If his disposal is not near equal to Salem's best, he has no comparative advantage as speed and size are not his advantage. Bowey will have Mentha, MW and Hore breathing down his neck.
  19. Curious as to why you say this (honest respectful question), NQR for me means a temperament, skills or endeavour issue and I have never thought that about him. I think like many small forwards his moments are brief and errors magnified, but to say NQR am wondering if I missed something. Personally I hope he is one of many that keeps selection pressure up, and I always thought he was a thinking footballer. If others have gone past him I won't complain though.
  20. Sharp always had the jets, the question mark was on disposal, any comments from track watchers on how that is looking please?
  21. Little clues to who all the natural leaders are, I was impressed at Tom Campbell's maturity. Chandler strikes me as a guy who is not going to die wondering, perhaps most like ANB in terms of commitment. Viney has found a chill gear (which must be a relief for everyone). But what I liked, and I realize that it is heavily edited, is that it seemed a team, regardless if you are one of the 1st picked type players or last picked. And I'm sure that the 1st 5 picked know all of the names of the last 14 on the list. Was not always thus.
  22. I believe it's an Australian invention called afterpay, slightly more ethical than the Cash Converters that Collingwood supporters fence stuff in, in Smith St 1CL to pay their membership subs.
  23. Got excited at this, the excitement JT had was palpable about Langford and Goody looked like he was the owner of Black Caviar when he saw the young men for the 1st time after the pick.
  24. Maybe too strong, but career average of 62% ainโ€™t no muppet, in the top 25 coaches for games at 333, 5th I think for winning percentage out of that bunch, is a high level of consistency, and equal 9th for number of GF reached. Iโ€™m not calling him Smith, Barassi, or Jock, but is a fair body of work. If I was grading him at school Iโ€™d say A-, is that better?
