  1. This is the last line from that story"But the simple fact is the agreement simply prevents him from saying anything against the AFL. Says it all for me JH cannot say anything so he uses TH and then if the EFC try and sack him he wheels in Mr. Burnside. Hmm why do I feel angry and frustrated with this mob.
  2. Sorry if I misunderstood sue. I just get a little [censored] of with the Hird camp trying to paint everyone else as the villains when they the root cause of the problems.
  3. I am trying valiantly to keep my mouth shut on the subject Bbo. I do of course have my thoughts
  4. Sue you may forgotten but for months prior to putting up their hands numerous journos had been contacting the EFC about remours about what was going on. The EFC threatened to sue if anyone went into print. These same journos then contacted the AFL. I remember when this first broke Gerard Healey said he had contacted the EFC and the AFL about the remours months before. If The AFL where advised that a big meeting was coming up in a couple of days and it concerned an AFL and NRL club you would not need to be a rocket scientist at the AFL to work out it was the EFC. The ACC have stated that they had not Told the AFL or AD that the club was the EFC prior to the EFC self admitting they had a problem. So can we please stop trying to paint AD as a villain. You are falling for the "Hird" propaganda.
  5. I filled in mine My big comments were - Don't like the emblem way to busy, keep it simple - Red and blue and get the red to be red not pink or Maroon I added Please no 1920's blazers
  6. You know dee-luded Most people who know me tell me I am positive person. I understand why some people on Demonland think the reverse. I believe I put the real situation case, as it happens the MFC has been a sorry mess both on and off the field for now the better part of a decade. So putting that position naturally looks negative, I am not into gilding the lily. I actually admire people like the Reverend who seem to be able to find some good amongst a hay stack of crap. But if I live long enough I will be very positive when we are in the top four. Go Dees I desperately need a win on Saturday
  7. I don't look at them any more Vagg It depresses me! Most look young enough to be my grand children.
  8. Now I am not certain on this Pates but I remember hearing comment from him during 2013 and he said he was out for a year but did not suffer from other problems when he returned to serious training. I am also confident that Garland had the same injury and was out for at least a year, he seemed fit back in without other leg injuries.
  9. I am getting a feeling you don't like him DD
  10. Last three are NGE in IMO Of the others I would trade one or two for the right offer.
  11. My guess is Blease out and both JKH and Byrnes in. Here is a smoky Gawn for the Sub
  12. I don't disagree with anything you have written and I don't like the comment by barndee. I am just stating my objection to censorship nutbean
  13. It is called democracy stuie you know that system we all live under. It is one I actually like. It gives the right of free speech. Even when it is not a popular cause being given. If you don't like someone's thoughts then ignore them they are usually not main stream. I am not a fan of censorship it is not a good policy. I am sure lots on here do not like my views on certain subjects or dare I say your views sometimes. They don't call for my exclusion or yours that I have noticed. So just get on with life the occasional over the top comment on Demonland will not bring down the MFC or the country.
  14. Oh god no..It took us five years to sort out the colour red in our jumper. We will have played in a GF before the seats stop looking pink or maroon or orange!
  15. Three years !Wish I had some single malt to help me digest that one
  16. Sorry Sassy I could not be that cruel.
  17. Gee Lamashtu there are some really big assumptions there. However the biggest one is that Frawley has six years left. In today's AFL there are going to be very few who make it past 30 years old. The stress on there bodies is now immense. He would be taking a bit punt to image he will still be going strong in six years time.
  18. Used to travel a lot more in those days bb I had just paid my Golden Wings membership 2 months before as well. No 1 wife and I were planning a trip to Europe in Business class. Ended up down the back on a cheap pay job. I can tell you they were longs flights will I constantly thought where I should have been sitting.
