The continuing saga of Melbourne's injury list - 2014
old dee replied to alpha33's topic in Melbourne Demons
It does tend to look that way -
His health since joining the MFC has been as followsTwelve from twenty two last year including a calf injury. Failed to make it through a game day warm up session. Had a calf tightness a month ago had has not appeared on the training since. Sent to the sports institute in Canberra because they had no idea what the problem is. Do you see a trend here?

Well it has all the signs Redleg Playing players out of position Players out for a week that turns into months Three KPF' s kept on the side lines for weeks Playing Pedersen and Byrnes continuously Missing shots at goal from thirty metres out Losing to St Kilda when every scribe in the land thought we should win. Need I go on Tanking for sure. Wow I feel much better knowing we are not really trying this year. Who is the best bet for pick no.1? -

I think you are correct Jnr There is a lot of time between now and March 2015 They will get numerous opportunities over the next 11 months. Can anyone believe TH will be able to keep her mouth shut that long. -
This will probably bury my reputation if I had any left But I actually don't mind Port.
-
Keep buying them but not on the basis you will need a GF ticket anytime soon Also be happy she is not interested yet It might give the MFC time to improve, win a few and she will want attachment.

I don't think it has anything to do with our resources or FD personnel C and B I believe there are some people that for whatever reason cannot take the punishment that modern AFL demands. Some rarely have soft tissue injuries and others just seem to move from one bout to the next with long periods out in between. We seem to have the luck of recruiting more of them than most others. It also does not help that our list is not as good as most other clubs i.e our good player stocks are lower to start with and a few injuries to the better players means there are no one to take up the slack. My father used to say donkeys never get injured the race winners seem to all the time. Look at the MFC, Pedersen never seems to get a soft tissue injury but Dawes has them constantly. Luck of the draw i believe. Just maddening that we always seem to be on the wrong end every year. -

He is no big loss Grapeviney. Worry about McDonald and Fitzpatrick coming up for this weekend. -
I have my own idea C and B but I am not going to state it here.
-
Just look at most of the crows supporters Grapeviney They are only 50 in the dollar most weeks

Just took the following fro PR story on Gawn playing this weekend “My communication with Mitch is through text and just really a support base, and just to say ‘that I’m here for you, give me a call when you can’,” he said. “We’re here and we’re supporting and certainly doctors are monitoring it a bit more closely. But his latest text was ‘thanks very much, the club’s been terrific’, so that’s been the extent of it at the moment. That sounds like a long term problem to me and the eight weeks off is the start only

Yers I don't think you need to be PR to work that one out Bbo There is no one else

You got it! -
I think you have totally missed the whole point of MASH stuie
-
h_h Blease has kicked 24 goals in 31 games i.e. an average of 0.77 / game Not sure where you get "We need goals and he loves them". he is a one trick pony IMO He does an occasional dash and then takes ten minutes to recover. Who would you take out to give him a run?
-
Well Al's Demons you are seriously in need of help. You can forget that idea this side of 2016 at the earliest. The last miracle worker in Australia was Mary Mckillop and there are a lot that would dispute that one.

I would actually make a $20 donation to the POH's fund if it helps to be rid of them.
