Well it is finally out, most of you out there are cupboard contributors! Hiding away in darkened rooms living a secret life on the Demonland site. Shame on you all. Now is the time to "Come Out"! It is not that hard and you will feel liberate when you do. Just tell your loved ones for a start it is not that hard. This is the best I have felt in 2 months! 36 hours after the Port game it occured to me that I do not have to worry about: - the injury list - team selection - will the coach have a clue this weekend - will Davey final spark up - will the captain have a good game - do we have any chance of winning this weekend. Now I have 4 -5 months of Freedom from worry it is all hope and delusion of a great 2012 before reality sets in around April 2012. Have a good day guys!

Not sure why it is assumed you have to be under 30 to post on a web site. Well my present was a bit more expensive than I thought. Never thought I would see the day when Bananas would be top of my wish list!

speaking of which what is the current price? believe it or not I had some for fathers day breakfast. Present to me by my daughter. We had a good laugh when I said Redleg would be impressed. They Looked at me as though I came from Mars. It took some explaining. Then Perhaps I do!

Had a sneak look at that other thread! It astounds me how much can be written about nothing new.

Well I guess that brings another wonderful season by the MFC to an end. And what a wonderful year it was. We played on average a lot worse than 2010, 6 - 9+ goal losses vs 2 in 2010. We got thrashed by the age old enemy. We went into the record books with a 186 point belting. We sacked a coach during the year. We ended the season with losses to Richmond and Port. Our Captain was next to useless for the majority of the year and the vice captain could not make the side for the last round through poor form. At the finish 13th on the ladder. Yes all in all a wonderful year. But in true Demon fashion there is always next year and the next year and the next year and the next year!

No redleg I did not know they were your horses. But that is the story of my punting life. Unfortunatly it is still a better story than my success in following the Dees

Good one HT I like it a lot.

A certain player has been left out today for the Port game And that other thread has gone ballistic! Just as well I am above all that!!!!!!
-
Still cool enough to enjoy a good red Rl.

Rooty Hill commonly known as the garden spot of western Sydney! I think I have stayed there WJ is that the one were you can rent Mocca's and tracky dacks for your stay?

I have a brother and a couple of friends who live in SEQ all of whom are AFL fans and x Victorians. They have all been telling this same story for some time RL. If it is not a Brisbane game forget it you will not see it live. Fortunately this will be the last time you have this problem as all games will be live on Foxtel in 2012. How is the weather? pissing down last I heard. Lovely sunny 18 here

I doubt Viagra could got get many aroused about it either

Spot on WJ and it is pissing down. What a hole!

Is it just me? The season feels over to me. I have little interest in what happens next sunday. however I am very keen to see the Casey game on Saturday. Thinking seriously of going on Saturday versus watching on TV.

What do you mean "believe in Santa Clause" You mean someone doesn't! Seriously the Easter bunny might be better timing!
-
I can wish but I know It will not happen. The wish is a bit like wishing for a winning season in 2012. A nice wish but not very likely.
-
Me too Redleg. That must have been the least satisfying win in 5 years. Not sure I can raise any enthusiasm for the Port game. Casey for me to end the Footy season. Cannot get to the Basketball and spring racing season quick enough. If I hear nothing on the bloody MFC in the next 2 months that will be fine. Keep the horse info coming Redleg. Have a good spring.

And very glad I bet!

Well just as well I messed up. Could not see a TAB meeting for Newcastle and assumed Belmont was the belmont near Newcastle. But of course it was Belmont WA. Guess who is a dill!
-
I am sure you are correct redleg I have been saving for most of the season that it is our more snior players that have let the side down. The kids are probably doing as well as expected at this point. I also agree with your earlier comment I am enjoying this year a lot less than 8-09. Cook also worries me not sure what is going on there, I am not buyong it is a long season for a young guy. You normally have to hold them back, young guys are usually busting to play. eg last year when we had to rest you know who and Trengove half way through the season in spite of them thinking they were ok. I doubt I have looked forward to the end of a season more than this year. Baby sitting tonight, I can forget the bloody MFC for a few hours.
