  1. I seriously doubt we will need to worry about a PF seat jaded. I think out in straight sets will be the result. Injuries have ruined 2023. Trading and drafting will return to focus in September
  2. Well the dance has commenced for the last time in 2023 for me. After this week's game I will be on holidays in the warmer north.
  3. Agree it is just way harder.
  4. That will be difficult Macca it is the AFL we are talking about.
  5. I agree last night my wife asked me are you watching the game tonight? My reply I have little interest in Senior AFL beyond Melbourne. Yesterday I went to see my granddaughter play in the GF of their basketball season. I am way more interested in them than other AFL games. PS sadly they lost and felt way more emotion at their loss than the MFC on Thursday night.
  6. I agree it is getting harder and harder to enjoy. Callous is the word. If he doesn't get a substantial suspension it makes a mockery of the AFL's statements about protecting the head.
  7. I not sure why everyone fails to understand the simply facts of winning and losing. If you dont score more than the opposition you lose. You might have actually played better but they did not put a winning score on the board I always thought we would struggle with Tmac and JVR as our key forwards. As I expected we got very little from Tmac and not much more from the Roo. This week we don't even have JVR, to be honest I think The Bun with give us more as a ruckman than JVR and as much as a forward. I hope we put on a good effort but I don't expect us to win. Again No good KPF's IMO you need as an absolutely minority One KPF to be playing well in finals games. Carlton have a good backline if our KPF's give us nothing we lose.
  8. I will say it again "But we didn't" Layzie
  9. I really hope I am wrong Macca.
  10. But we didn't, the only stat that matters is the final score. The world is full of should haves.
  11. And I see no problem with your view mono.
  12. Doesn't worry me either way. Just put an alternative view.
  13. Then again the same people could say they are tired of the overly optimistic. We were going to beat the pies with no quality KPF's
  14. Can there be a worse loss that the ones to essendrug?
  15. And that makes all the difference, in 2021 we had a dream run.
  16. Yep that will be true of today's game.
  17. Who are you going to put in instead the cupboard is bare.
  18. I could not agree more this left side [censored] of May annoys me more than anything else we do it is so predictable. The opposing teams see May has the ball they all move to the left.
  19. You need to get used to the idea MB.
  20. It is asking a lot expecting a fix a problem that has been there for most of the year. Against the moron lot we were trying to kick goals from a long way out and in most cases from difficult angles vs the morons who got the majority of their goals from directly in front from 40 metres or less. We also wait to deliver the ball into the forward line until it is crowded. We seem to have a lot of players who stop and look at the options for too long by the time they decide the forward line is crowed. May is a great player but the right side of his vision doesnโ€™t seem to exist. he marked the ball and we had three players lose on his right what does he do he kicks down the left to a crowd, pies clear the ball and it results in a goal.
  21. I agree with your Gus comment he is IMO underestimate by many. Sadly even if we win I doubt he will play again this year. He should not risk his brain again this season if we lose because of it so be it.
  22. I admire your positivity the only way we win is if Tmac and the bun kick 2 goals each and I would suggest the chance of that are extremely remote.
  23. Wether he plays or not he will not be at the demons next year. With Roo out we need another tall and there is no one else.
  24. We simply donโ€™t have the forwards to win against Carlton. Expect another straight sets exit. The upside I wonโ€™t have to listen to the morons from Carringbush.
