Every time there is a big increase in TV rights the comment is all is now good and all clubs will be debt free.Guess what a couple of years in everyone has taken a Bigger cut and a sizeable number of clubs are again in the Red. Improved TV revenue IMO is not the answer. Better use of the funds generated is the answer. The AFL has to get this sorted it is their area of control.

Be very careful with the age thing bjDee the majority of MFC supporters are grand parents or at least old enough.

There is too much being spent on Football Departments and Stadiums. The Goose cannot lay the eggs fast enough at present. Something has to be changed or 5 or six clubs will go under by the end of this decade. As long as one of them is not the MFC it will not worry me there are too many at present. 12 sounds like a good number to me Play each other twice and the talent pool will not be stretched to include 80 - 100 players who are not good enough.
