Oh No the worst possible thing has happened ahead of Dees 2021 campaign! Cyclone in Nth QLD has ruined the banana crop. Shortages expected and prices will increase. Think I might go back to bed.

Last Friday I got an email from the club talking about going to the first game. It said among other things I would get another email on Monday. So far Zip. Anyone get the second email?

I received an email on Friday saying as above George, it said more info Monday. I was out with some Richmond die hards yesterday and they have all applied for tickets ballot already. I guess most of their members won't get in so they are on the job early.

I think I mention elsewhere that last year at members info night there there was a short spot from the coach. He looked like it was the last place he wanted to be. I thought he looked ill. He said he was not going to make excuses and then gave 3 excuses why we did not play finals. Last Monday his spot was 1 minute and looked totally disinterested. On both occasions his spots did not make videos of the night on the MFC site the next day. What's up there? Not a good look IMO.

Sadly George while they control the election process to the point that no one they dislike has a chance of election it will not happen. We will be dependent on them " doing the right thing". Ha fat chance. Reminds me of the old days when MFC members were only allowed to vote for two members of the board.

And then there are the ones like me who will keep buying no matter what. Did not go last year and big chance I won't this year. I think MFC members are fairly tough or they would not still be members.

I guess that is the best of the uninjured but I find it hard to see that lot beating Richmond if they are half serious.

Hunch, reading between the lines from AGM. Bartlett said the new word would be from the government. That suggests to me that he knows they are going to comment. When? Postive I think? I think they are going to announce a redevelopment of Olympic Park which will include us.

I have a feeling we are going to hear about a new home in the Olympic park area in next couple of months.
