I have little care for NRL DC. They have always had low attendance numbers unlike AFL.

Not sure the problem is huge LDC just because you and I have lost it recently doesn’t mean everyone has, more likely our warped view of the world. Jokes aside mental health is a big problem but I doubt we will get our wishes as part of some mental health operation.

Perhaps it is Zero ! The big hold up has to be the use of public open space. If we were looking at any other location not weld to the G then construction would have started by now in fact probably finished and in use.

I am not Bda. This year I did not get to go to a single game. I watched the Dees matches on FTA and little else. and I did not ask for my membership back. However this year I thought about it before renewing. If they continue to treat people who attend matches with contempt then the Dees better have a good 2021 or by this time next year I could easily slip to attending Amos matches live and AFL will be an occasional tv watch . The sad part is the AFL probably don’t care what I do, I am expendable

Thanks for that Gil. Seriously there is a difference between giving up some things and being their slave. If they continue to ignore fans who prefer going to games the base will quickly erode. Why buy a membership if it gets harder and harder to go to games.

Because they are completly control by the broadcasters. I think that Gil is now Broadcast media CEO. It is getting to the stage that going to a game is not important to the AFL. Why bother with a membership just sign up to Kayo and get all the other sports as a bonus. I am sure he would be happy with that. Oh and get a hair cut Gil you look ridiculous !

It is just to hard to work out. I am taking the “ let me know the result when the merry go round stops” and I will look at 2021 from there. It seems like the draw for next year will be a moving fiasco. It seems like the broadcast media now run the competition. Who actually employs Gill? And by the way Gill get a haircut and shave. On days like today it reminds me why my interest in AFL is sliding.

The MFC has decreed that it has to be in the G vacinity . Forget Port Melb it will never get looked at.

This is of their own making pure and simple. At the time of the Grundy contract I was wondering how they could afford that in their salary cap. Even from the outside it looked strange.

Let's not forget that Collingwood, Dogs and St Kilda all only made it because we dropped games to easy beats in the final 3 rounds. I have doubts about WCE they bowed out of finals fairly easily.

D17 I don't think it has anything do with all that. IMO they needed to shed $2+ million and looked at where best that could be achieved. Treloar was the big one and when his wife moved north that thought great he will follow her, here is our big chance and it blew up in their faces when he said no quite happy here. The others were just easy pickings. It was only after the event that they started making up excuses.

I don't believe it is Buckley's problem. Other people would have been telling him we are sweet with salary cap then he gets told $2 million has to go!
